One of the reason I chose this hotel is that it had air conditioning, as I cant sleep in warm rooms.Unfortunately it wasn't working very well and I wasn't able to get the room cool enough to get a good sleep. I did mention this when I checked out and the lady apologised, but it was to late Id already had a very bad nights sleep. This wasn't helped by the bed not being the most comfortable.The lady on the reception desk was very nice, friendly and welcoming.

The second time I've stayed here. Both times, the hotel and service have been great. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was made to order since the buffet wasn't available and was fantastic.

The staff were great - so friendly, helpful and relaxed. The hotel furnishing, fixtures & fittings were a higher standard than I expected. Great attention to detail. I am so pleased that there were several decent coat hangers - I've almost given up expecting to find any in hotels. Loved the spacious, push button shower. Lovely big bed.

Comfy sleep for the money it does what’s needed, breakfast was also very good. Surprise £5 charge to park was slightly annoying. Drink prices are not outrageous overall clean and tidy.

Ok Hotel. Bed was really comfy, but has a link door between rooms. I heard every single thing from the room next door and I mean everything. So not great at all. Charge for parking a car overnight also. Signs up telling you to pay on app. £10 for 10 hours or £20 for 24 hours. Walk inside to be asked to pay at reception also. So that needs sorted out.Staff very helpful, didn't eat or drink but looked great and smelled amazing.

I would give 5 stars to the rooms, but some towels have not been checked either washed properly. The staff from the reception solved the problem straight away when I've raised the problem to them. About the position, the company, either the owner, should do something about the road sign. There's no way to know where the hotel is found when you're at the roundabout because there are no indications...

Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, breakfast was good, room very clean. Housekeepers are wonderful and polite. My husband speak only french and he was happy to speak french with some of the staff who treated us very well.

Stayed here for the weekend. The staff was warm and welcoming when I arrived. It happened to be my friend’s birthday and we mentioned it to the man in the bar whilst we ate, and he brought out a piece of cake and a candle! So sweet of him! Thank you!The room was comfortable and clean. Lovely bed and stylish bathroom. The bar and restaurant was nice too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I received a fantastic warm welcome when I checked in, I stayed in room 162, this overlooked the gardens at the back so it was nice and peaceful. The room was a really good size with a very comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean. The shower was amazing and the separate toilet was in my opinion a good thing especially if you are sharing the room. I ate dinner in the evening and the steak and Ale pie was very good. Breakfast in the morning was your typical buffet arrangement with a good selection of hot and cold items. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is purely down to the filthy state of the carpets in all the common areas.

I love Novotel hotels if we need to pick a hotel and we can choose for a Novotel we know our choice. The hotel is near the highway and very central.The staff is friendly and the rooms are ok and big enough. This specific novotel hotel maybe need some little updates but that are all minor things.The breakfast is mainly ‘English’ so no ham and cheese. If you want the full and only British breakfast experience you are at the right spot. Eggs, fried eggs, bacon, white beans in tomato sauce, sausages and toasted white bread.The rooms are big enough and the bed is good.What we normally don’t do is have dinner but we choose to have dinner in the hotel. Surprisingly enough this was a good dinner (see photos)
