Not so easy to find. Looks like a small cemetery from long ago. There are supposedely around 200 stones in a standing position from around 3/4000 years ago.Kinda eerie, kinda boggy, and not well kept but it is signposted and easy to find.Free access and free parking.Well worth a stop if picts are your thing.

Sitio con un encanto especial. Vista al mar y colores de brezo y brezina entre las piedras le dan un aire romántico especial. No tan frecuentado como otros monumentos más turísticos, creo que merece una visita.

This is a unique site, unexplained and that makes it all the more poignant to walk round. There is parking for 2 cars max if the first one parks away from the road. We were disappointed in the level of maintenance of the ground, heather and gorse is effectively engulfing the place. We could see a little effort put in to clear it, but it really needs clearing entirely including the surrounding area.

Absolutely breathtaking setting for this mysterious ancient hill of stones. Follow the circular path around to examine the site. Information boards suggesting possible reasons behind the stone arrangements. Small area to pull up to park, and just steps away makes for easy access to this one of a kind site.

Small but beautiful historical site.In total, there are about 200 stones here, and they were erected up to 4000 years ago. If you circle the stones carefully, you can see how they were built in tapered lines. Please stay on the edge and do not trample wildly through this monument.Note: there is no real parking here. Campervans may need to stop a few metres before, just after the crossing.

One of the many enigmatic historic sites in Scotland, with just enough remanences remaining to pique interest, but not enough to provide any satisfying explaination. Access off A99 via a narrow laneway, limited parking at the site entry.

Amazing. Who knows what stone rows were for. Disappointed that the upkeep was poor. Most of the site is peaty and boggy but worth a visit.

As the name implies it is a hill with many stones. The stones are not visible from the road and are nested into the hillside among some nice wild flowers and such. The informational sign explains the unusual layout of the stones, and a circular path can be taken around the field of stones. It is best be accessed on foot as there is only room for about one car there which incidentally has to park on a single-track road.
