Went there for a Christmas meal with work colleagues. Although busy the service was very good. Staff were attentive, and it has a great atmosphere. The food was good and well presented

It was lovely.It’s a really nice place, with friendly staff. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was peaceful.The food was delicious and looked really nice. We had a set menu (starter, main and dessert) for £25. There were vegetarian options available.I would definitely recommend!

Such a lovely spot for a Sunday roast! Both the cheese scones and the roast beef are incredible so would highly recommend and staff are so friendly!

As a party of 6 we had a range of different tastes and orders. Every plate was empty and all agreed how lovely the food was.I had a wonderful gluten free fish and chips. My friends had Sunday Roasts, Cauliflower Cheese and Vegetable Strudel.All fresh, beautifully cooked and generous but not overwhelming.Thank you. We'll be back to try the Snickers dessert!

Visited with family for my Father's birthday lunch. We were all blown away by the food! The staff were also very pleasant and attentive and accommodated every request. The pub itself is beautiful, cosy and set in an idyllic English village - a true gem.

We had a great Sunday lunch and everybody enjoyed their food from starters right through to dessert. For me the Good Old Boy at £4 a pint is great and it's a good well kept pint .They also cater for diners with any intolerances and help you through the menu, so everyone can have a nice meal.The service was spot on as usual, so it was a good way to while away a few hours on a drab Sunday afternoon.
