Gary performed for our drinks reception at our wedding on 14.08.22. He was brilliant, and perfectly paired with the beautiful sunny weather we had too! I'd recommend Gary to anyone and I hope to have a reason to hire him again in the future.

Gary provided an excellent service at my wedding. He understood the assignment and over delivered.We had to reschedule our wedding due to covid (March 2020 to August 2022) and Gary was flexible and accommodating.We hired him to play at our cocktail hour and then provide a rhythm section during our eventing reception.Punctual and friendly, he and his team provided an excellent service. Do not hesitate to book.

Gary played at my daughters wedding. He was responsible for playing at the beginning and end of the outdoor ceremony and then to entertain the guests for 60 mins during an outside post ceremony cocktail party. Gary was very efficient with communication and understanding of what would be needed. We were guided by his expertise. My daughter and fiancé loved it and many of the guests remarked on how wonderful it was. I have, as a result provided Gary’s details to at least 3 couples. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Gary provided great entertainment, really appropriate to the setting and kept the dancing going to the end. We had a family party involving all ages and there was something for everyone. He came on time, was discreet in setting up and everyone commented how good the music was for our tropical theme birthday party. Would definitely recommend.

The band we’re absolutely great, made my wedding day, all the guests had so much fun and didn't want it to be over! They all said they had never been to a wedding where everyone was dancing before they sat down for food. They were so friendly and couldn’t recommend them enough, don’t hesitate, book it!!!

Gary Trotman of Steelasophical provided fantastic music for the Annual Dinner for our group - the Monday Evening Group of Alderminster. He was very professional, a lovely guy and even though working alone his wonderful steel drum music filled our Village Hall with joyous sounds. Everyone loved it, and he even managed to get the most reluctant of our members up dancing, which is no mean feat given we are all “of a certain age”. We recommend him highly and if you are looking for a steel band for your event, don’t delay - book him now - you will not be disappointed. Thank you Gary for making our event a success.

Funeral wakeGarry was punctual and polite. It was a delight to find out we shared the same cultural background and he played specialist music that my late mother would have loved. Steelasophical Steel Band were amazing at our recent event. Their choice of songs, great musicality and accommodating nature meant that the event went with a swing with everyone up dancing on the floor. Guests said it was one of the best parties they had ever been to!!I can thoroughly recommend them for your own event - you won't be disappointed
