I had 2 surgeries on my left knee and I took quite a bit of time assessing my options and finding the right surgeon. I went to Mr Imbuldeniya for a second opinion. He did not pressure me into making any one option. He patiently answered all my questions and laid out the facts for me to make an informed decision.I was very happy to proceed with the surgeries under his care. Since pre-op, I was in constant contact with his PA, Annie, who is also amazing. They both helped me pre, during and post my op. The patient care they extended is truly above and beyond and really helped reassure my fears. Through it all, Mr Imbuldeniya remained patient, calm and supportive of my progress. The wealth of knowledge he has coupled with his empathy and care for his patients are just some of the key reasons why I would recommend anyone to come to him for help.

I did my research before committing myself to be under the care of Mr Imbuldeniya and I made an extremely good choice. In my sessions with him he was attentive, caring and frank-without making me apprehensive.Mr Imbuldeniya saw me directly before the operation to explain, again, what would happen. He came to see me after too to tell me what he had found within the knee and what he did to improve my movement. That he took the time to do that made me feel looked after.At all times I felt I was given the choice with the decision making, rather than being told this is the only way.His Support Team, was equally efficient at answering my questions and arranging my appointments. I had a total knee replacement back in June. 14 weeks later and i'm back in the gym, doing circuit classes and about to start to build up to running again. Massive thanks to Dr Imbuldeniya - for enabling me to get back to where I wanted to be.

I met Dr Imbuldeniya regarding an ACL injury. He carried out surgery which I am very happy with. The whole process from consultantation until recovery has been great. Dr Imbuldeniya and his team's communication is excellent and I pleased with my recovery plan.

On 16th November 2020 I underwent partial knee replacement surgery which Mr Imbuldeniya carried out with the assistance of a robotic arm at The Lister Hospital in Chelsea. The operation was a success and I cannot believe I am now walking around normally with only minor aches 4 months later which I put down to the skill of Mr Imbuldeniya and his surgical team. I would strongly recommend Mr Imbuldeniya as a surgeon to anyone needing knee replacement surgery as he is most definitely an expert in his field and I will not hesitate to go back to him if my other knee needs replacing.In addition, Annie his assistant was brilliant from day one promptly answering any questions I had and putting my mind at rest if I had any concerns.5 stars from me :)

Excellent consultant, extremely knowledgeable, offered the best possible care through my prognosis, surgery (arthroscopy) and recovery. Also, a great guy! Supported by his wonderful PA Annie, who was very welcoming and efficient throughout. Would highly recommend!

As a fellow consultant trauma & orthopaedic surgeon, I am well placed to endorse Arj as a hip and knee specialist. He is particularly skilled in robotic hip and knee replacement and is regularly invited to lecture and teach on this.I know from patients who have seen him that he is friendly, approachable, responsive and caring. He is a lovely chap and an excellent surgeon.

Recently I had to undergo a hip operation, which is a rather an invasive operation to say the least, as well as lengthly recovery. However Mr Imbuldeniya made the whole experience (dare I say it) painless! He has a very caring nature, he takes the time to listen & understand you and makes you feel you are not just another patient. The run up to the operation he was open and honest, the day of the operation he made me feel comfortable and that I was truly in the safest of hands. Post Op I did not feel forgotten and with his amazing PA Annie on side, you are always well looked after. If anyone is needing any advice, assistance or sadly has to go through an operation of this nature - you could be in better hands from start to finish!

I am really happy with the care I received, Mr Imuldeniya is informative, calming and caring. His personal assistant is also fantastic and was very quick to answer any questions I had. Couldn't recommend more!
