Kumon Maths & English

Charlie started at Kumon Kingswinford at the end of January 2020, he was a few months into Year 2 of primary school and was struggling to grasp reading and writing, unable to read more than simple words. Efforts at home to encourage him had hit a brick wall, Charlie was getting frustrated and upset, which led to him not wanting to try any more. We were at a loss as to how we could help him, then a friend suggested Kumon. Since starting Charlie has progressed better than we could have ever hoped for thanks to the patience and encouragement of Emma and the team. Charlie enjoys his work and has developed a love for reading. Most evenings he takes a book (or 3!) to bed and reads happily to himself. Charlie is no longer afraid to makes mistakes as he understands now that it is how you learn. Emma is a wonderful teacher - my daughter is thoroughly enjoying her sessions. I would highly recommend if you are looking for Maths and/or English tuition for your child.

Kumon and Emma have been a lifeline during home schooling as the state schoolshave had limited resources and provided limited assistance.
