Church of St John the Baptist
Friendly, welcoming and unpretentious people. Amazing 20th century architecture and a spectacular stained glass window that is worth the trip on its own. If you can't get in to look around, the vicar lives next door and she's very friendly and can let you in. Worship is 10.00 on Sundays.

Went into church hall for an NHS meeting, found the hall was incredibly cold, as meeting went on for hours found it to be extremely difficult to concentrate

Beautiful Sam Scorer building....and now a lovely new vicar Rev Rachael Heskins is in place. Fantastic stained glass in the chancel.

Beautiful church and the service was how I feel most comfortable. I wish the people were more friendly. Lots of smiles but no real attempt at conversation. Fr Stephen as always was brill.

The church hosted an evening of jazz; its a gorgeous venue, and made the evening even more special. Its a beautiful, unusual building: the minister is awesome. Definitely worth a visit
