South Coast Adventures

Visited on the 1st September 2022 with my two children, 16 and 13 and hired 2 kayaks and a SUP for an hour. The equipment was of a very high standard and looked well maintained. The two staff, fern and unfortunately ive forgotten the name of her colleague, were very friendly and informative and run us through the health and safety procedures. There is an area for getting change with showers and a toilet which was very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone with a few hours to spend, on the beautiful harbour.

Located within Hamworthy Park,Always fancied a go at SUP, and this was a great place to sample it within the harbour area.Great staff very friendly and knowledgeable.No drill Sargents hereRelaxed affordable and safe fun, did SUP and kayaking over a couple of days. Full on site facilities including showers.Cafe in the park for nearby snacks, lovely little beach and children's play areas.Allowing you chill out after your time with the adventures team.Thank you for the excellent experience my family and I had, we will be back.Highly recommended

My grandson, aged 10, was booked for a Kids Adventure Day. He was very nervous but Simon was excellent at reassuring him. He tried the kayaking and loved it. Thank you Charlotte for being patient with him. He also tried paddle boarding and went through the cave three times. He’s certainly interested in doing more kayaking and it has been a great taster session ready for when he goes away with the school in October.South Coast Adventures is an excellent addition to Hamworthy Park. Go down and see the team. They are great. Also thank you Carla for looking after him.

My daughter and I had the most amazing time learning the basics of paddleboarding with Lucy who was so very patient with us both! She has so much knowledge to share and answered all our many questions with enthusiasm. It was also such a safe environment to learn in as a beginner. We hope to book another session soon to improve.

Paddlesport Safety & Rescue course.An excellent course and well worth it. My son and I learnt so much. The location and venue are perfect and well equipped. The instructor Simon Reeve and staff were so helpful, friendly and experienced. We both feel a lot more confident in knowing the latest rescuing techniques in all Paddlesport craft.

Thank you South Coast Adventures,Great day on the water, excellent facilities and equipment hire. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We hired a couple of boards and vests as well as using one of our own. They were flexible and competitive in price. We would recommend and use next time we are on Poole.

Must do! My 10 year old grandson has a 'Intro to Paddle boarding' session and by the end of it he looked like a pro! The team are very professional and made every effort to make sure it was a fun experience. Thanks Charlotte! They are in a stunning location at Hamworthy beach. We we definitely be back to try the wall climbing and cave, along with some more paddle boarding. Recommend this place very highly. Thanks for making an amazing memory for one very happy young man.
