Needed a timing belt and water pump replacing after the last garage used a cheap part that failed, these guys are spot on!Brilliant, really happy with the work done and how accommodating they were. Their communication is excellent, as is their workmanship. They did the job with no fuss and showed me the faulty part from the previous garage. Will DEFINITELY be returning for further MOT's/servicing.

Nov. 2019. I've just picked up my Toyota Corolla 2.0 Diesel Hatch from Towngate. Firstly, I was given a 2 tier quotation because Spec. on cars changes all the time and could only say for certain once the job was stripped down as to the cost. As usual it's never the cheaper price. No bother! My clutch was changed almost within the day even though the previously unknown parts didn't arrive until 1pm that day! Shaun must have put a good days work in to achieve that. Thanks Shaun! Not the cheapest of jobs to have done but cheaper price than quoted elsewhere in Billingham. Had my hand brake fixed too! dd Many thanks for that. Took my megane 225 in to get a heater motor replacement done which is a notoriously difficult job on renaults. Had it there at 10:30 and to my shock it was ready to collect by 1:30. Not only that but with the car having a 6 month warranty. The lads sorted that on my behalf so it didn’t cost. Great service and a great job.

I would definitely recommend Towngate if you require recovery.Friendly rang me on time came out to pick my car up on time also, I was even picked up from my home address and taken to where my car had broken down.Great service all round.

Have just had the clutch done on my 23 year old freelander. The clutch arm was seized, that's a right pig of a job, these lads stuck at it and sorted it. Price was very good and they kept in touch, letting me know what was happening. Will definitely be going back. Really reliable garage. Thanks

Got the oil change here in my Skoda Superb. Same oil as Halford use but £40 cheaper. I used to change my own oil but for £75 it’s not worth getting an oily arm. I never knew independent garages can update digital service records but they can. Skoda garages charge £185 for an oil change and “inspection” so £110 more to kick the tyres and check fluid levels.Nice friendly service, why pay more just for a tiled shiny showroom experience.

Always brilliant service. Have helped us out with all or cars over the years. I've had to check they've charged me right a few times because the bill has been so low. Friendly trust worthy skilled mechanics. I would reccomend without reservation
