Avalon Court Care Home - Avery Healthcare

If you are looking for a Care Home a visit to look around Avalon Court is highly recommended. I work for a charity with a group of ten Care Homes in the south. My sister and Mum chose Avalon Court after visiting several Homes and I am well impressed! Mum is very happy and the carers & staff take great care of her. The food is good and there's plenty to do with lots of activities. It's a beautiful place and the residents have made the garden lovely. A big THANK YOU to every one who works there.

I've been very impressed with Avalon Court care home. It was a tough decision to place our Dad in care, but right from the start we knew we'd made the right choice with Avalon. He's safe, well cared for, is getting more exercise than he was able to at home, and has a fuller social life. All the staff are a joy to interact with, and it's clear that they really do care about the residents. The food is amazing, facilities, decor, and standard of maintenance are excellent; we've come to refer to Avalon as a hotel with care" as it has such high standards.It's very comforting to know that at this stage of Dad's life he's enjoying himself and has the level of care he needs. I am leaving this review to congratulate all of the front of house staff. Not only are the friendly and welcoming they go above and beyond to answer all queries and somehow make you feel already part of the Avalon family. I would not hesitate to come and experience the face to face tour. Your receptionist is a credit to your company being so kind and compassionate. I look forward to visiting .

This has been my first job since moving to the UK from South Africa, and I have never regretted my acceptance , I love coming to work for laughs cuddles and friendliness, my first job my first welcoming family ever. X thank you Avalon

Amazing staff, Amazing care home, nothing is ever too much trouble, and always feels welcoming. We have seen a massive improvement since our much loved family friend moved here a few weeks ago. Huge thank you to Everyone.

This home is beautiful  i worked with the deputy manager nicola she was my manager at another care home we achieved outstanding under responsive heading. she was so supportive and was such an amazing manger to work along side. She would go above and beyond I couldn't recommend her enough.This home is so lucky to have her she is amazing and attentive to residents and familys nothing is to much for her

Working as Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Avalon Court Care Home. It is a privilege to work in such a beautiful care home and interact with all the lovely residents. If you are looking for a care home for your loved one this really is a place to guarantee fun, care and friendship! Come for a tour to see for yourself!

My mother in law is in this care home, ( not my choice)She is always just sat in her chair as she is imobile starting at the tv. No one interacts with her, she often looks dirty & unkept. I’ve had to ask them to look at her eyes as they have been filled with gunk and when visiting one day she was hanging outbid her bed about to fall out! Often has bruises that can’t be accounted for and always getting clothes and personal belongings stolen! I feel the home itself is ok but the dementia unit they are just left! Can’t wait to move her!!
