The Celtic Tossers Axe Throwing & Airsoft Exeter

Went to Celtic Tossers as part of a stag do back in May. Hugely accommodating, relaxed but safe atmosphere - all had a cracking time. The coaching is pitched appropriately and they offer excellent value for money, unlike their competitors. Will return!

I love axe throwing, and used to travel to North Devon to throw, but now with Celtic Tossers nearby it saves a long journey.My son and nieces (aged 8-13) are always envious when I go axe throwing, so I promised them that I'd take them in the summer holidays, and they were NOT disappointed!The children started with the ninja throwing axes, were taught how to hold and throw, and once comfortable were offered the mallet axes. They had an hour to throw, which was the perfect amount of time for them.The owner is lovely, so friendly encouraging and patient with the kids. They had a great time, and apparently they're all saving their pocket money to go again!Thanks Celtic Tossers, three axe wielding Vikings were made yesterday, and they haven't stopped talking about it since!Great fun for kids (8+) and adults too!

Absolutely loved it and can't wait to do it again. Booked for a friend's belated 60th birthday (5 of us all women of all ages) This activity is great fun, the venue is easy to get to and the event organiser was very good, clear and kept us safe at all times.

What an awesome evenings entertainment. From the outset our host Dom made us very welcome, we received a short safety talk and then straight into the action. As a party of 8 it was non stop with different throwing implements. A great little venue, I'd highly recommend this to any party teen and above

We had a great experience throwing axes. The guy who ran the session was really friendly and gave helpful demonstrations and trips throughout.The unit itself was very bare bones but had everything you needed for a fun time. £18/hour was great value and we'll definitely be returning!

What's not to like?! You get to chuck axes and not be in trouble!Strongly recommend these guys, they're lovely hosts and very knowledgeable in terms of helping you with where is best to stand to optimise hitting the target due to spin.

My son and I, had a fantastic time today. We were shown the ropes and supported with different ways to throw the axes. Excellent customer service and so welcoming. Would definitely recommend. Thank you, I will be coming back with my other son.

This was a something different 68th birthday gift for my husband. We had a great time. Chris was a brilliant tutor. I was a bit rubbish. My husband is now a fully fledged tosser. I've already recommended to all my friends. Thanks Chris. Will definitely be back again.Stephanie Smy

Fantastic family time had throwing axes! The atmosphere is friendly and you never feel rushed and are able to take everything at your own pace. Chris (who instructed us) was helpful, supportive and patient which helped a lot!

A great experience and everyone in our party of 7 had an amazing time. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of trying this or just something to do while down in Devon. The lad who was hosting and showing us the ropes and health and safety procedures was brilliant and friendly. Thank you Celtic Tossers for a fab morning!
