Popped in here several times now as a pit stop with an excitable dog and baby. All staff always so helpful and go out of their way to bring my order out, get water for the dog etc. Wonderful personal service every time.

My husband and I often walk along the river and stop at the cafe for coffee and a bite to eat and have found it very pleasant and the staff are pleasant. However yesterday we stopped off for coffee and food. While we were sat eating a young member of staff was sweeping the floor and mopping around us. This has never happened before but the thing that put us off was the smell of disinfectant which was all we could taste while eating our food. I do hope this will not happen again as it is very off putting. We will however call again and hope there is no reoccurence. Kind regards.

Ordering lunch proved frustrating. Menu items were not available, and when I questioned one of the remaining items, it transpired that the description was inaccurate. Our eventual order - for two bowls of soup - took 27 minutes to appear.

I had a cheeseburger. It was fine but there was a piece of plastic inside the burger. When I showed it to the staff, she said, I am sorry but it is not a big deal. I think she didn't realize if the plastic could stick in my throat.

Absolutely freezing inside, sat with coat and scarf on to keep warm. I ordered a goats cheese and Mediterranean vegetable sandwich and was instead served a feta cheese and roasted vegetable sandwich - disgusting.
