Appleby Street Farm and Shop

We absolutely love it here! We bottle fed the lambs today which felt like such a privilege. It’s so refreshing to be able to take the kids to a proper farm that hasn’t been made to feel like an amusement park. The people are so friendly and the farm shop has lots of delicious things including the best cakes!

An absolutely fantastic farm. It has quickly become my and my little girl’s favourite place to go. The staff are so friendly and always go above and beyond! The animals are fantastic and incredibly well looked after. We have had so many wonderful handling experiences with them.The farm shop is second to none too. I haven’t been able to resist one of their famous doughnuts during our multiple visits! Thank you all to the wonderful staff at Appleby Street Farm for always making our day!

The best farm ever!!! Absolutely fantastic people who are so good with the kids!! My sons birthday was made so special and the farm is run so nicely with such a beautiful ethos!! We enjoyed every minute!! ‘The best day of my life’ were the words of my 10 year old!!

Appleby street farm is one of our favourite places to visit, we have been many times. The other evening we had a great experience with feeding the new lambs & calves. My sons always have lots of questions about the animals and Olivia is always so friendly and helpful. The farm shop is lovely with lots of nice goodies available, especially the cakes!

I wish I’d known about this farm earlier! It’s a great place to take kids to see and feed the animals. While you’re there you have to buy one of their brownies, they are delicious! Lovely staff and animals! Highly recommend.

Our son absolutely loves going to this hidden gem of a farm.The staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome.There is so much to do and our son loves being hands on with the animals.The food and drinks in the farm shop are amazing,especially the doughnuts.Highly recommend.

We went to the farm for a private party and our little ones had the best day. They allowed us to feed the goats, pet the lambs, hold chicks and Guinea pigs, brush pigs, tractor rides, go in with the calf’s. It was such a personal farm with such lovely people running it, would highly recommend to everyone for both a regular trip or a private birthday party for the kids!

We have been to this farm quite a few times and have loved it every time.From bottle feeding the lambs and calves to goat walking and pony experiencesThe staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble.The children (and adults) are allowed to get up close to the animals and my children over the times have held bunnies guinea pigs, piglets, lambs and the little goats.We will definitely be back again :)
