Due to the recent loss of my mum I contacted oak funeral services , the service provided by Julie and her team was outstanding, exceptionally professional and the attention to detail was superb, going the extra milewith including mums colours , julies support throughout was exceptional , being at the end of the phone always . The service its self was done with great professionalism. I highly recommend Julie and oak funerals in the unfortunate event you require this service. I cant thank them enough . A small hiccup with my direct cremation plan very quickly sorted out. Friendly, relaxed, reassuring service. Highly recommended.

Julie did a wonderful job. Nothing was too much trouble and she was very respectful of how difficult a time it was and made sure we were comfortable with every decision made. She was an absolute star and we are so grateful for all her help and support. Would absolutely recommend her services.

We were 100% satisfied with all aspects of Oak Funeral Services budget cremation scheme. From the initial contact, through to the simple heartfelt and memorable cremation itself, our family felt in good hands.The Crematorium is spacious and tasteful.The printing of an Order of Service was impeccable.The provision of music we had identified was perfect, and at a good volume.The basic wooden coffin was what my father would have chosen for himself.The demeanour of the staff was friendly and very helpful.I would recommend this firm wholeheartedly.

Oak Funeral Services are brilliant. I knew both my parents were in good hands which is a huge comfort at a really difficult time. Jonathan and Julie are a great team; warm, caring and professional - they care deeply about their work and it shows. They are always on-hand to answer queries and reassure. Although based in Somerset, they can also come out to a wider area in nearby counties. Their prices are also really good.They go through everything step-by-step with you, and Julie's additional touches to the eulogies were perfect. Jon made my mums funeral sacred and very beautiful.I was touched by his compassion & Honesty.Everything was perfect my heart smiled because I felt the love that Jon & His team have for the special work they all do.Please do not go anywhere else I went to two firms before I found Jon. You will find a genuine guy who will make the day peaceful and gorgeous.Totally recommend even if you have to travel or out of the area there the best funeral directors out there if you want a genuine heartfelt service.

I cannot fault this firm at all. In the saddest of times they were there 24/7 to assist help and care for us and our late beloved mother. The wicker coffin was the most beautiful I have ever seen - the hearse was lovely. Julie as celebrant was wonderful assisting us in conduct of the service but letting it be very much our service and funeral, we requested obscure music nothing was too much trouble for Jonathan, the order of service Jonathan had endless patience with our changes, the final bill was exactly the figure quoted - when the time arises I will use Oak Funeral Services again without hesitation and I am already recommending them to everyone. You will never regret using them. They were brilliant from start to finish.

Due to the recent loss of my wife I became a customer of Oak, the service provided was perfect, every detail was handled with the upmost of professionalism and courtesy, I was supported all the way by Julie who is just a master class in how to conduct business, the way she handled my requests and didn't hit a snag at any point was so re assuring, the service on the day was also smooth and very well instructed, Julie again read out to myself and guests in a clear, concise and caring manner, I can't recommend this business any higher in the unfortunate event that you require the service, also the prices are great! Having been in touch with a number of funeral directors, Jonathan’s professionalism and sensitivity to what we wanted stood head and shoulders above any of the others we contacted. He was consistently attentive throughout, in what was a very difficult time, and he made a very bad situation slightly better for it.
