Spheres of Reflection

I passed the shot tower (5 mins away) this morning and finished here, at the shot memorial, a full circle of Chester.

Loved this sculpture very much. It's clever and it draws you in. Sits on the side of the Shropshire Union Canal in Chester. The sculpture is made of stainless steel and blue glass and is by Edd Snell. It was designed to commemorate Chester's lead industry. The red brick Chester Shot Tower nearby is the only part of the original leadworks still standing. Spheres Of Reflection emulates lead drops impacting on the surface of water. There are a cluster of benches to sit at too.
