The service is warm but this was their teriyaki chicken dish. Disappointing to say the least. I once ordered their fish and chips too, blunt but okay.

Polite staff and a tidy old-fashioned pub with a wide range of beers and ales available!Great-sized courtyard garden to the front of the pub fenced in to keep four-legged animals in!Love a neck oil pint so always happy to see them available on draft

The Cricketers Inn is a gem in Winchester! My experience here was nothing short of fantastic. Andrew, the barman, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my visit. He recommended their signature burger and fries, and I must say, it was absolutely delightful! The burger was cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy and flavourful.The ambiance of the pub was cozy, and the service was impeccable. Andrew's attention to detail and warm demeanour truly enhanced my dining experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service. I'll definitely be returning for more of Andrew's delightful recommendations!

We love this place. In fact, I grew up in this place. Literally in the pub. My parents ran it once upon a time. It’s the kind of place you want to come after a nice, long walk, to sit, chat, & laugh with friends. To have a well-earned meal and a few drinks while the rest of the day, or night, slips by. There’s a LOT of history and a lot of love in this pub. Highly recommended.

On a whim i chose what they call scampi and chips from the snacks menu. To be fair, they were chips, but what the other stuff was is anyone's guess. Clearly from a box, probably from Iceland. Staff were friendly and it looked like a decent place.

Since Andrew has been managing the Cricketers it has improved enormously .He is such a friendly guy, and the service and the atmosphere is just like it used to be before Gary left.It is now a pleasure to once again meet our local Easton and Valley friends there for a drink and food.This is limited at the Moment but Im sure Andrew has plans to improve this situation and I for one can't wait to be able to meet friends, have a drink and dine at our Special Village pub.Jill Croft.

Lovely little pub. Enjoyed a few pints and a stay overnight. The pub and rooms were very clean and presentable. Highly recommend.
