Lovely walk along the river beautiful scenery only marred by the few selfish dog owners that feel they are not obligated to pick up their own dog's mess.

Shepherd Meadow Nature Reserve
Spacious grass and wooded area with a variety of paths popular with casual and dog walkers. Several parking areas with benches scattered around. Large pond for ducks and others close to play area and cafe towards sandhurst. Close to Meadows if you want to avoid the shopping trip!

Wearing walking boots at the moment (April). The ground gets very boggy during rainy season.There aren't clear walking paths so be prepared for some slippy slidey moments.Parking is free, though, and your dog will enjoy the area.Ditches are full of water, but it's not flowing water and a little stagnant so don't let your dog enter it.
