Wentworth Park

Good to go for a walk. Nice bacon sandwich & coffee

Lovely 6 mile walk from Wentworth school through the park to Greasborough and return. Fairly quiet with no traffic to bother you, I can recommend it.

Unbelievable fishing lakes great scenery. And a nice stroll up to the main house.But I'd walk downhill if I were you it's a bit steep walking up from the main road .lots of wild life to observe. And if you are lucky. You can view the dear in the park.at the top. Well worth a visit

Let me start with the fact that the place is really beautiful. However it is not good for kids. I went there and was told i can't have a picnic by a man speeding on a quad bike. I had to stick to the footpaths apparently. So i did as i was told on my way back. I had no intention of staying there any longer and not to mention i will not be returning. I'd much rather pay small entrance fee and go to wentworth garden centre where i would be welcome and be able to see more things. I mean what sort of park doesn't allow you to have a picnic and play with your child?!? They might as well close it off to members of the public

Well worth a visit...hope to go into the house next time I'm there. Beautiful walks and places of interest.
