Wine Training School

I took the WSET level 3 wine course with Raul and the experience was brilliant. Raul is very professional, a very understanding teacher and really prepares you for the exam. The selection of wines to taste and discuss was really interesting and high-quality. I really recommend it.

I recently completed the WSET Level 2 course with Raul and had an amazing experience. Raul is an excellent teacher and I thoroughly enjoyed being taught by someone who is not only extremely knowledgeable but is also truly passionate about wine. The selection of wines chosen by Raul for the tastings were of very high quality and the teaching venue (the Corinthia Hotel) is absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend Raul and the course highly enough, and I will definitely be signing up to complete Level 3!

I took WSET level 3 with Raul, and the experience was a 10. He is incredibly competent and able to communicate with passion and enthusiasm.The classes were all really interesting, and the environment and classmates really friendly.Above all, most of the wines were superb. Raul always managed to put together a great selection.Highly recommended!

I’ve done my level 2 with Nelson (he really made the difference, an amazing teacher for WSET) I’ve to say the best course I’ve ever done. So professional and so precise in the wine explanation, we tested a great selection of outstanding wines.I’ll definitely do level 3 as soon as possible!

I completed the Level 2 WSET course with Raul at The Wine Training School few weeks ago. Raul makes it fun, interesting and really enjoyable. The format of the course is great, the location is beautiful, but most importantly Raul's passion and knowledge of all things wine (and food) is the best. What drew me mainly to this course was the fact it was completed over a two day weekend which fitted in with my regime perfectly as others only do a weekday evening over a couple of weeks. Needless to say this was an amazing course. Raul is passionate and wise regarding his love for wine. He teaches in a way that the information stays in your head and you can associate wines in a way that's easy to understand and remember. We tasted some fabulous wines and i learnt so much. It was an absolute joy to be in Rauls presence. Our whole course passed and i would recommend this course to anyone wanting to understand the fundamentals of wine and its origin. I will seriously be considering continuing my learning with Raul to level three. Thank you Raul!!!

Excellent course - 2 days WSET2 couse.Raul's way of teaching is very logical and the course was well structured so it was easy to understand and remember. We taste wonderful wines and learnt so much. The Level 2 course was exactly what I was after - a structured, engaging course to learn all the basic elements of wine-making that all enthusiasts should know. Raul's teaching style is both fun and professional and prepares students well for the exam. The wines tasted were of high quality and the course took place in an impressive venue. It's clear to see why Raul has such a high pass rate and I look forward to taking Level 3 with him in the future.
