Our son is really happy here, despite the controversy of being housed in Newport but studying at UWE Bristol. Great modern building, secure entrance, decent sized ensuite rooms, amazing views and good access to the City. Very poorly maintained car park for visitors on waste ground opposite. (Not owned or run by the Student Campus).

The staff are very friendly, attentive and get right on with any maitenance issues when they do occur. They host regular events open to everyone and have a diverse array of them. I do recommend bring your own fan as the rooms can get hot during warmer times but apart from that the rooms are great prices for students.Plenty of space, under bed storage, drawers, segregated wardrobe bookshelfs etc. For students staying the academic year at university or on placement, I would recommend.Plenty of shops nearby due to being close to the city centre whilst being gated with a 24/7 reception/security for peace of mind.

Simply said, if I were a student I wouldn’t be disappointed to have this as my digs! The room was clean and tidy and in very good decorative order. The bed, a double, was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. There was plenty of desk space and desk chair if you were in need of a work space. The bathroom again was clean and tidy and the shower was good. The bathroom itself was a wet room type and had all you needed. The concierge staff were professional and knowledgeable and the location itself wasn’t too far from most things. What was a nice touch was a free taxi calling facility which was available at reception. When the taxi turned up the taxi phone ‘beeped’ to let you know the taxi was outside. As for the price, no complaints; very good value for money. Would certainly use again.

Ostensibly, a great place to stay short term when the student accommodation complex operates like a hotel and offers rooms to all types of paying guests. However, Endeavour House is poorly managed, with inadequate staff, so that customer service is stretched beyond its limited capacity and capabilities, and attention to health and safety standards is lacking, including faulty door locks, unmarked high step in and out of the bathroom, overheating and supplied fan not working, poor cleaning detail, etc. All of this belies one’s first impression of a good location (although on a very busy dual carriageway with no pedestrian crossing) and large, well-equipped communal areas. Overall, not a favourable hotel experience, and I certainly wouldn’t stay here again.

It was a nice place to stay at ,the location wise & price wise ,very good choice ! But, it was way too hot !! I stayed here in August. And the bed was not very comfortable . I had to find a good spot to sleep on !I was helped by a young lady to get in on my arrival as I was ignored by a staff..The guy was very rude & unfriendly, talked to me like a drill sergeant who also lied to me that he was talking to some another guy when I tried to open the front door ,didn't realize there was a buzzer near me as I approached the door from the other direction where I got dropped off by a taxi driver. Two John there were very nice guys & one of 'em was very very helpful !! The laundry room & the washers/ dryers were very new & high quality !! I got helped by a very nice male student who was staying on the ground floor to get in my building . The kitchen / dining room was very nice & had a great view of river Usk !!!! It had a TV & a table with chairs ,also a couch !! I misunderstood the lime scale in an electric tea kettle there ,got turned off ,as I thought the green fuzzy stuff was a mold !! ( So, I didn't cook there which I was originally excited about / planning to !! ) John changed it with a very new clean one immediately ! Each building had a kitchen w/ a big fridge ,cooking stove ,a microwave,a toaster & cooking tools. So,that is convenient !The elevator was working fine .But the shower was very difficult for me to understand how to use ! And no one explained it to me beforehand ,or no mini tour was given ,just a key !!The room was clean But,the bed wasn't so comfy .The security system was a bit overwhelming, I wondered why they needed that tight, that much !!? I would had understood if it was here in the States !! Also ,each door was very heavy to open/ close !! I found it difficult for elders &weak people. It was safe in the area at night & towards the city center .But not the other way ! l recommend this place for people on low budgets as well as people like me prefer cooking own meals rather than eating out ( sadly I didn't because of the incident w/ the tea kettle ,assumed the other cookers ,dishes weren't clean ! ) ! As well as it's great for people need to do laundry during their trips. Although it was not so cheap.I believe it was about £2.50 each ? I forgot now.The guests need to download the app to use it by reserving the washer/ dryer. The laundry facility was big & had a sofa to sit on as well .I believe it had a vending machine there ,too ! And it was opened 24/7 I believe !But you need to reserve the machine units in advance w/ the app ! This accomodation is very good for a short stay ! As for a long term ...,not so sure as the bed was not so comfy ( partially sunken mattress )& the rooms can get very very warm /humid during summer !! But,the room was more spacious than I expected. ( mine was a large bed rm ) It had a hair dryer in a drawer of a desk. You need to use the kitchen to make a cuppa ! Kids staying there were very kind !!

Absolutely appalling level of hygiene in the communal areas (kitchens). The level of noise here is ridiculous with no control or regulation from staff.I understand it’s a student dorm however there are no standards/rules here whatsoever.Plenty of other accommodation in the vicinity. Avoid this place.

Me and my partner stayed at the student Village the room was really cold and the heating didn’t work The shower went hot and cold when we told the desk about the heating the guy on the desk, said there’s nothing we can do about it and just give us another blanket
