I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea Feb 2022 and used the CPAP machine, feeling like I was going into battle every night, due to previous surgery years ago unbeknown to me my left nasal passage had collapsed and I was unable to use the CPAP. I had a consultation with Mr Karaguma and was advised that I had turblance (scarring from previous surgery and enlarged tonsils). I decided to proceed with surgery and had septoplasty, turbance, tonsillectomy, partial uvula removal and some soft palate removal. Surgery was on the 8th March 2023 and by the end of April I had a sleep study which concluded I no longer have sleep apnea. I cant thank Mr Karaguma enough for giving me my life back and have to say a big thank you to Jo (Personal Assistant) for being so lovely and supportive throughout my procedure

I have recently undergone the procedure to enable me to burp, sounds simple enough but has been ‘life changing’. You don’t realise what you have been putting up with until it goes away. No more trapped wind pain, no more bloating and I can drink a fizzy drink with ease for the first time in 50 years. The whole process was so easy and Mr Karagama was exceptional. I cannot recommend Mr Karagama and this procedure enough if you cannot burp. He is a true gentleman.

It has been almost exactly a year since my daughter had the Botox procedure for RCPD with Mr Karagama at Blackheath Hospital. The procedure has been 100% successful and she no longer has any of the painful, debilitating symptoms that made her life so intolerable before. My daughter was extremely nervous and frightened about having the injection but Mr Karagama is so lovely and calming, that she was able to proceed with the treatment despite being scared. She says that she doesn’t feel miserable now or have the awful nausea, vomiting, bloating or chest pain she had before and can now get on with her life. Sometimes treatments are said to be life changing but this truly has been for my daughter, so if you suffer from RCPD (inability to burp) and are able to get the Botox injection with Mr Karagama I would urge you to because it could provide the cure you are looking for, we certainly haven’t regretted it for a moment.
