Honestly I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff are amazing and the manager goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Right from the start of my mother in law moving in they have been so caring towards her and all the other residents. She absolutely loves it at Abbey grange. Food is amazing and they are constantly checking if residents need food/drinks and always encouraging them to eat. Place is spotless and there is loads of activities happening all the time for everyone to get involved. Amazing place for your relative to stay!!

Impeccable standards of care and warming and very friendly staff and MANAGEMENT (Kerry). My father is currently a resident here and really enjoys his stay, which is really refreshing to see. Dynamic range of staff to facilitate the different cultural backgrounds, residents can come with, which again is refreshing to witness. I would most definitely recommend this HOME to anyone desiring a peaceful routine and lifestyle within the very large, beautifully decorated and CLEAN home.

We as a family feel that our loved one is safe and well cared for here and wouldn't want her to be anywhere else. If we ever have a problem we know that we can discuss this with the manager (Kerry) ,the nurses and carers. Our loved one is always presentable and clean with personal touches such as nail varnish applied and different hair styles applied. All the carers work extremely hard and have shown us as a family visiting regularly respect and friendliness. Our loved one stayed in 3 other carehomes before coming to Abbeygrange and the stress and upset that we suffered due to not being cared for efficiently was horrendous. Now we can relax as we feel she's settled , as are we . There will be problems to face in the future but I feel with the support given from everyone at Abbeygrange we will endeavour to make sure our loved one has a good quality of life .

There is not an option to leave no stars. From the onset I have been very disturbed by the manager Kerry Peach and certain staff that follow her orders to bully and abuse residents and visitors. On numerous occasions I have tried to speak to Kerry Peach and Chloe Idel who have screamed at me, shouted at me, made disturbing false allegations and cutting calls which I have prove of. Very few staff are lovely but sadly are stressed by their manager Kerry Peach. My father who is a resident is victim blamed for his condition and the outcome of all he has suffered, he is denied basic medicine for genetic Dementia, food I brought to eat with him has been thrown away despite me organising this before hand with the care home staff, my father does not know how to use a buzzer so he is left in his urine and faeces untill staff decide to see him, he is left alone is his room where I cannot speak to him or keep him company without disturbing allegations made by staff and Kerry Peach. My sister has brought my father a basic phone which he is not allowed to use he tried to call me and my sister after three years of not knowing how too and then called the Police for help, his phone was then taken away from him when the Police tried to check on my father in the home. The Sheffield City Council Social Care have apologised for this behaviour after two Safeguarding investigations yet it continues in the home with no apology from manager and staff only further abuse. I have been told to escalate the matter by Sheffield City Council. Seeing my father in this situation is heartbreaking as it is and every single visit on seeing my father is made more difficult by the staff instructed by the manager where every single time I leave in tears and my father is crying deeply upset. I now take a witness with me on visits due to it being made so stressful for me. This has impacted me deeply and most importantly the care I want to provide to my father which many professionals are aware of and have a record of.If you want a family member to be abused as well as yourself neglected, not safeguarded, deprived of basic human rights including food and medicine this is the home for it. I urge people to please keep your family safe and away from this home and staff. I will be taking my case legal and Public. I have reported this to County Court who have given me management details whom are not easy to reach. Domestic Abuse in any form and any environment is unacceptable and a public matter. This home must be investigated and the manager and her staff that participate in this behaviour should not be allowed near any vulnerable adults or people let alone be in charge of their care and life. I will make sure this is all thoroughly investigated and known to the public to prevent further abuse. For the past five plus years I have been battling keeping my father safe. I sadly thought he would be safe in this home but he has only been exposed to further abuse and neglect including other residents this is disturbing and traumatising to witness. I worry for my father and other residents in this home every day under these conditions.Any resident who has faced these issues please contact me on social media where I will give you my contact details.I would add photos of all documented including my father's abuse, injuries till present but I can only share when instructed by legal staff.Miss Freeha Hussain daughter of resident.

No option for no stars !If you want your loved ones to be safe , clean and looked after , please avoid this care home .. if you question your loved one's progress aspect everyone to say what you want them to say, and not the truth.. loved ones are left to fend for them selves ! If you want un witnessed fall adding to the list , this is the place , food is not encouraged, before it's taken away ! Drinks are limited, as in the heatwave no drink's available for 3 days !! The very professional response from the manger was ' they have tea or milk !!!! . Never in a million years would I ever make the same mistake in placing my mum in this incompetent care home !!
