Caithness View Luxury Farm Lodges and BBQ Huts

We had a lovely stay , beautiful lodges with everything we needed, amazing views and nothing was too much trouble, we would highly recommend

Best pods I’ve ever stayed in, very modern and clean. Selection of games and well stocked with good amenities. More spacious than you’d think. BBQ hut well equipped with all the utensils you could need. Information booklet provided very helpful. We will be returning and would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area particularly on NC500

Had a lovely stay here. The accommodation is first class and the Barbecue huts great fun. Would thoroughly recommend anyone doing the North Coast 500 or visiting this part of the world stay here for a bit of luxury on your travels.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay in August 2020 during the midst of the global pandemic. We had received excellent directions to the lodge which was extremely well positioned – wonderfully calm and peaceful but not too far from the amenities of some large supermarkets and shops in Wick. We were able to use the lodge as a base for exploring many of the attractions of the east coast. The lodge was spotless and we appreciated and were reassured by the details given as to the cleaning measures that had been undertaken (which were signed and dated). The quality of the bedding and mattresses in the lodge was excellent. There was ample crockery and cooking utensils. The shower was brilliant with a rainforest head and lovely soft towels. The kids loved the lighting settings on the fire which gave the lodge a cool glow (without having to have heat). Sharon was wonderfully helpful when the cooker operation flummoxed us – which was in large part due to us not spotting the instructions that were in plain sight in the kitchen! The quality of the wifi surprised us given the location – though don’t expect city centre speeds! The star of the show was undoubtedly the BBQ hut – which we all loved. Surprisingly and deceptively spacious – it gave us some smore making memories we will treasure. During a 2 week roadtrip around Scotland we were blessed with wonderful accommodation throughout. Morven Lodge was perhaps the quirkiest and one of the smallest– looking like a Hobbit House – and it’s a reflection of how much we loved the place to say we can’t think of single thing that we would change about the lodge or a single disappointment we had about our time there. Thanks for a magical stay!

We had an amazing stay in a Lodge for a night at the start of our NC500 route. It was a real highlight of our trip and we loved the BBQ hut.The lodge was comfortable, cosy, well equipped and we all had a great time. Great views and a lovely sunset. Clear communication from booking to arrival.Would definitely stay again and will recommend.

A brilliant location. This was our second visit and both times we got a brilliant aurura display from the north facing windows of the lodge. Being only 20 minutes drive to John o grotes or Scrabster it is perfectly located for the orkney ferry and some brilliant wildlife sightings. The BBQ hut is a nice touch. My tip would be bring old clothes to use this as you may end up smelling a little smoked yourself after a few hours in the hut..... But it is well worth it as the experience is one to try. Being a mile from the main road gives the place a feeling of total calmness and relaxation..... But inside WiFi is available and the TV has enough channels to please everyone. Especially if you cannot completely switch off from the outsude world. The actual accommodation is well presented and well kitted out. We stayed 3 nights this time..... But with all that there is to do out and about this was not really long enough......

Absolutely lovely. The house has all the amenities you'd need for a relaxing stay with the BBQ being a great added bonus. The views from the lodge are breath taking and it's located to make it easy to do quite a bit of the NC500 as day trips. Or if you'd rather, there's plenty to see just by walking around around the property. Definitely will visit again!

Had the most incredible short break, exactly what we needed. The lodge was wonderful, cosy and had everything you could need. The BBQ hut is a lovely addition but the main selling point is the location, completely beautiful and incredibly peaceful. Helpful hosts who are a phonecall away if you need them.
