I LOVE HOOPLA!! Have done a fair few classes with them now and all have been great!! The teachers are wonderful, it's a lovely lil community and there are tonnes of opportunities to go further with improv through Hoopla if you want to from improv jams to house teams! I came in knowing nothing about improv and absolutely terrified and was welcomed with open arms, 'yes and's and a bunch of fun! The shows are great too! I go to them as frequently as I possibly can!! Always SO FUN! And absolutely hilarious! A great night out! HIGHLY recommend!!

I've been training with Hoopla since 2017 and to be honest, it's been life changing. Right from the start I've been made to feel accepted into a big community of funny and supportive people, who genuinely just want the best for everyone. Importantly, Hoopla are brilliant at nurturing people and making them feel part of one big team. It's truly inclusive and I take a lot of lessons from the field of impro and the many teachers at Hoopla, into my professional career.

I have worked my way through a lot of the courses with Hoopla, and found each one an engaging and supportive experience that welcomes all in. The teachers are knowledgeable and generous, helping guide you through the course to give you the confidence as a group to deliver a show. I have met wonderful people through the courses and shows, and I enjoy the regular performing opportunities Hoopla has to offer. Highly recommended!

I’ve really enjoyed my 8 weeks beginners improv course. I was so nervous before my first class, but I’m so glad I had signed up. Chris is an excellent teacher. I’ve had so much fun and laughter - it was the highlight of my summer!

Hands down, the best improv classes in London. Amazing teachers and a fun, friendly atmosphere that put me at ease straight away. My confidence and passion grew with every class as I met fellow improvisers and fearlessly practiced new skills and games week after week. The final showcase was absolutely exhilarating and I couldn’t wait to come back for the next level. Above all, I really love and appreciate Hoopla's efforts to support POC and improvisers from lower income households. As a proud member of both these groups, I felt love, eagerness and a space waiting for me on the Hoopla stage in a way I have never felt before. It is a truly unique feeling of warmth and acceptance that has been the beating heart of my improv journey. I wish I could tell my younger self that one day she would be a part of the representation she so desperately dreamed of seeing on a comedy stage. She probably wouldn't believe me, but no doubt she would be as wonderfully overwhelmed as I was the first time I stepped into Hoopla. An incredible and beautiful experience all round, I can't recommend it enough!

Hoopla is an absolutely vital, joyous part of the London comedy scene. On and off I have been performing shows there since 2015. The staff are generous, helpful and welcoming, and performing there now feels like coming home. It is unquestionably the number one home of London improv. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I love everything about Hoopla. Their shows have a great atmosphere and top quality acts. Their community is friendly and welcoming. Their classes are fun, friendly, their teachers are great and they offer such a wide range of different courses.The home of improv in London!

I enjoyed the course (first level), particularly the support and camaraderie; scene / character work. We created a whatsapp group from the first day and this brought us gradually closer, it was a really special group. A lot of us have signed up for the next stage in September. I'm excited to see what the new course will bring and also to experience a different teacher. I have already recommended Hoopla and I think it is great! Although the speed of email replies could definitely improve, the customer service and overall ethos is amazing and exemplary.

Hoopla is a fantastic place for performing. I had fun and I laughed a lot! Maeve our teacher was excellent! I felt free and confident to try things... Good for the mind, body and spirit! Thank you brilliant Maeve and Hoopla :)
