Brighton Glassblowing

My boyfriend booked this experience for my birthday, and we had a truly great day with Gordon! The whole experience was super informative, but relaxed and fun; we learnt so much, and it really made the whole day special. Gordon was super nice, and clearly loves what he does, and was happy to show us some of his other work afterwards, so that we could see the different things that could be achieved with glass! Something I’ve always wanted to do, and can now tick off of my bucket list as a huge success, and we got to keep what we made - overall, a really fun day!

What a fabulous experience! Gordon was lovely, super knowledgeable and a brilliant teacher. The whole lesson was hands on and so much fun, makes you want to do it all over again. So happy with the Christmas bauble and marble I made. Definitely recommend a glass blowing lesson. It’s an 11 out of 10 from me! Thanks Gordon, I had a great time : )

I really enjoyed the half day experience, what a pleasure to try working in glass. I am a maker and I use all materials, it was a real pleasure to learn a new process and work with such a tactile material. Gordon is patient, knowledgable and full of energy. I highly recommend.

The glass-blowing course with Gordon was the best birthday present I've ever bought myself. His passion for glassworking shines through and he's a great, patient teacher. If you're an artist who wants to learn how glass works or someone looking for an insight into the craft I'd recommend this course. It's a safe, supportive environment and you'll come away with some beautiful items you can be proud of.

My brother and I went on the half day experience on Friday for glass blowing and had a tremendous time. Gordon is a great teacher and explains a great deal about the glass, techniques, and processes so you are confident in what you are doing. We would highly recommend joining a lesson at Brighton Glass.

Gordon is a wonderful, caring teacher who is eager to share his passion with you. The small setting is ideal for building your confidence and learning all the tricks and tips of the trade. You will not regret this unique and fun experience!

Brilliant experience went for the full day. Gordon paced it well. Full of glass knowledge and background. And how great to try different techniques, then move on making goodies to bring home. Two baubles, pendant and a shot glass. Will enjoy a shot every Friday reflecting back on a great day
