New Beijing Takeaway

After over 20 Years of Using This Takeaway in Upminster...Today was the Last Time!Placed The USUAL Order and Today instead if getting Number 66 Sweet and Sour Pork Hong Kong Style We Received 166 Roast Pork Cantonese Style..which We Don't like, I phoned Up to say they'd made mistake to be told My Husband Asked for IT... Rubbish!..I was Right Next to Him when He placed the order and He REPEATED it to the Woman... She Then offered to Send a Portion...but No Apology for the mistake.3minutes later She Phone back Saying We had to PAY £5.40... I went on the phone and Said it was Their mistake Not Ours and I Expect What I paid for and Told Her if They Did'nt Want Our Custom thats Fine..I'll leave a Review on Trust Pilot..and put the Phone Down.About 4minutes later She phoned Again using a Different Phone Number Saying They'd Cooked it so I Have to Pay!I Very NON Politely told Her WHERE THEY COULD PUT IT!A SIMPLE Apology would have Surficed... So Now It'sGOODBYE NEW BEIJINGReview left here because they don't belong toTRUSTPILOT..WONDER WHY!???S.Mason

Ordered from here as it had good reviews on just eat. However the food was bland and the duck cold and not very crispy. The satay chicken was soaked in way too much thick satay sauce and the pineapple fritters were raw all the way through with liquid batter. Definitely wouldn’t Recommend. Can only guess the good reviews are old and they’ve changed chef.

The food has always been so good but my last order on 24th July was not good at all. The king prawn fried rice was off. The prawns used was spoilt. Had to Chuck it off. Will it be ordering again from this restaurant....

Do not order from this place. We order on xmas eve as a treat and had saved up to get it. We made an order of £45 and it never turned up. We waited 2 hours and in the end we had to give our kids a ham sandwich as it was already passed thier bed time on xmas eve. Order was confirmed at 6:28pm and 8pm i was calling 58 times to be exact and it was just line busy. At 9pm it then said restaurant was closed. Couldnt even get a refund to order from somewhere else

I have been a loyal customer for a number of years. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, in fact this is the first online review i've ever completed. Last night the food arrived stone cold having waited over 90 minutes for it. I don't mind the wait, just don't want food that you can't eat.

Ordered online and after an hour they notified us they were cancelling our order - very disappointed

Been ordering from these wonderful people for 6 yrs now and their food is always amazing and service excellent. I got my food in 20 mins of ordering it. Piping hot and delicious. Thanks Guys! Delivery person always polite and smiling.

This was my fave Chinese takeaway but for some unknown reason every time I order from there they cancel my order now. No idea why slightly disappointed by it as there’s no reason to cancel the order. I’ll take my money else where.

Dreadful. Cold. No sweet and sour sauce with prawn balls. Spring rolls which we had not ordered and pork slices so tough we couldn't cut them with a knife, let alone chew them. Chilli beef so hot with chilli that we couldn't eat it. Threw most of it away.

Just ordered a takeaway from here. Very disappointed. It arrived cold. Very strange chilli beef. No flavour. Shared it with 4 people. I never said how bad it was until other people who were eating commented. Chow mien was like rubber. Sorry guys. What went wrong? Lady on the phone was so nice. Will not use you again
