No sense of urgency, even with full knowledge of deadlines and money at stake.When I decided to cancel, the lady on the phone tried to argue with me and then hung up on me. Don’t bother, it’s a waste of money. You can get the same or better support from Acas.

I was in Ucatt for 15 years they represented us at every opportunity and always supported us unlike Unite. When we had a dispute with a contractor unite would not pursue our claim they are only interested in taking our subs every month and subsequently have lost 2 members because of this. .

Good union..excellent training programme..lovely calm atmosphere..ideal for learning..couldnt fault the training but a smoking/vaping shelter and working brew machine would be great.

steer clear, after being dismissed from work after 28 years all my unite the union rep could say was, oh dear lets just look to the future. & at my appeal which I lost & he was a complete waste of space all he could say then was ` well its a paying member we have just lost` so go somewhere else. ive given one star only because I have to.

Waste of money and help not provided.I contacted a representative in case of two disciplinaries. I had to contact them several times and been told the representative will call me back. Never happened. I had to try and after 2 months of having meeting I did lost. My representative were quiet all times. I've been left alone explaining everything and no help was on my side. Why I was paying then?One of my relative contacted them in case of harrasment. She spoke to the representative and been told will call back". They don't even bothered. No response at all. Why she paid then to them?We did cancelled memberships. If I know there will be waste of money and no help provided I wouldn't go with them.Rather look for different union company.. These are waste of money and time. And when it comes to help us they don't bothered to do their jobs."

Joined 16 years payed all them monthly payments waste of money never needed them until resently past round the country to different departments then by the one who is incharge of looking after you has a bad attitude in a way to talk to you when your paying I now am cancelling all future payments as I had a accident and can’t get any sense out of unite the union I will leave it here there is a lot more I can say but my advice save your money

I advertise my business with them for a year and it was an absolute waste of money (Not even a single penny business from them). I don't even know they put my ad on their website or not as I couldn't check it was bit complicated so I gave up!!! Just be careful if you want to advertise your business with them.

I joined about a year now, and I thought I would have no more stress from work and I'll get support when ever I needed, but it wasn't true as they're saying, I've been through a lot of stress and having problems at work and the Rep that we got all of them are useless and they're just working for mag and for them self, and when you call them you got to deal with unprofessional staff and they won't listen to you and they just tell you to speak to your Rep and thats it, you start fighting your issues by your self all the time so the point of joining them, truly and honestly waste of time and money and you will have more stress with unite the union, avoid them and join somewhere else.

Awful service avoid at any cost. It's not worth paying monthly subscription. Go to your local citizen advise centre much better than Unite Union Reps with work related issues. I haven't use there service currently want to get my membership cancel and refund me in full from start date.
