Having thought for years it would be great to landscape our garden and replace the garage that was used as storage we drafted a plan and contacted Luke. Having worked through the detail over some months to get it right we finally started works in Jan 2023. Luke has a great enthusiastic drive and vision which when you can harness his focus on the detail he works through issues to get it right to meet the look and finish you want. This takes time and we had some disappointing delays but once started he and his great team, Richard, James, Joe and the rest of team Condor worked hard, communicated well, all with good humour to get a fabulous finish.Mike did a great job landscaping, and even cutting our stepping stones to our random shapes in order to use the same sandstone as we couldn't source them. Ross for tidying up after everyone and expert pipe laying, and Dom for working through our demands and precision with the electrics.We have ended up with a garden, office and storage/workshop that has enhanced our home and are great spaces to spend time in. Better than we had dreamed off.

We’re delighted with our large ensuite garden room. Luke’s design skills created a bright, airy space inside that looks smart outside. He has a fantastic team of builders, always polite and punctual. I didn’t expect the process of the build to be as enjoyable and exciting as it was. I thank them all for that.

We are beyond happy with our new garden room which we plan to use as an office/kids retreat. It is compact (3m x 2m) and fits into the corner of the garden perfectly, yet is deceptively spacious inside. Left to our own devices we probably would never have chosen the green doors but Luke's design flair was spot on! All the team were friendly and professional and the build was completed well within the time frame set, despite some ridiculously hot weather. The couple of tiny snagging issues that we had were quickly sorted without any fuss. We would highly recommend.

A truly transformational journey with BGR. Luke and his team have converted our old garage and turned it in to a beautiful timber framed garden room, complete with vaulted ceiling, mezzanine, ensuite bathroom, veranda, workshop, bike store and under cabin storage.BGR has created additional space for our home that we love spending time in. Luke’s enthusiasm and vision has been so refreshing to be around. His personal touch has really made a huge difference and where there have been challenges, Luke has problem solved, found creative solutions and ensured all work has been completed whilst maintaining their high standards.BGR promised us a bespoke, unique and inspired garden room conversion and they have surpassed our expectations and quite simply turned our dream into reality.Thank you Luke and BGR. We had a fantastic experience with GBR. Initial impressions were positive in terms of discussing and designing the garden office. The professionalism and creativity continued when the operations manager and carpenters arrived and the whole build was done with great craft and first class workmanship whilst showing respect for our existing mature garden. The outcome is a beautiful outdoor space that blends well with our garden and fits our practical needs (see attached photos)

Last year we had a vision, a vision to replace our aging leaking conservatory and rotten wooden decking with something usable all year round and a garden that was easy to maintain, would suit our family and had the wow factor.We had seen various posts on Facebook from a company called BGR Designs through the year with their timber builds and liked what we saw, so we invited them over to discuss our requirements.Luke, who manages the company and is the Lead Designer came to see us and immediately the enthusiasm was visible. This was a guy that shared our vision and wanted to execute it to his high standards. What a lovely chap and very easy to talk to!After several discussions we gave the go ahead. BGR handled the planning application for us, and this was approved in a record 2 weeks!Fast forward to 3 months later and we have a beautiful living space, and beautiful garden, as can be seen by the photos included with this review.From demolition, site clearance, right the way through the build process, every BGR employee was a delight to have in our home. They are caring, professional, friendly, and above all else, they are experts in their field with a drive to get things done right. This was certainly evident as we saw the timber frame develop. What a beautiful piece of work, it's actually a shame that it is covered and can no longer be seen ! In fact, the building controller commented on the quality of the steelwork that was placed at the large openings that were cut into the existing house.The amount of wood and the size of the wood was incredible, the build is solid, but at the same time beautiful.Large bi-fold doors span most of the front of the build with large windows either side, allowing the garden to almost enter the home. The build is clad in beautiful larch wood, with 3 large roof windows casting more light into the build, 2 of which open to provide fresh air if the weather is warm.Out into the garden area, there is a gorgeous large composite deck surrounding the mature trees. A beautiful seating area surrounds a firepit with the whole area pebbled with Scottish pebbles, finished with clever planting. And to ensure privacy BGR have implemented a really lovely slatted high fence on both sides of the property.We are so very pleased with the results, we can't stop smiling. Thank you Luke, BGR Designs proved to be the right choice for us and now we have a home and garden that we are very proud of and enjoy every second of being here!

BGR built a garden office and shed at the bottom of our garden. They were a great pleasure to work with and we’re delighted with the result. While the commission was pretty simple, Luke added a little flair to make it more than a box. The whole job was overseen by Richard who couldn’t have been better - great communication, always available to talk things over, and went above and beyond in everything - and we always felt like we knew what was happening and what to expect thanks to several pre-build on-site meets. Wes and Euan who actually did the building were also brilliant, and very respectful of the space. BGR did a great job of sorting the internet, and the electrician was super vigilant, notifying defects in our house that would need to be rectified to sign off his work.I’ve now been working in the office space for a few weeks and it’s perfect. Would highly recommend BGR to anyone looking for a friendly company who will work with you and keep in constant communication.

I have a terrace house with a sunny front postage stamp and on a steep decline. Luke looked at the job - the 5th person to look at it and transformed into something magical. All other designers just scraped out something ok. This man - with budget in mind grabbed my hopes and dreams and made them a reality. I wanted somewhere safe - for my 3year old. I wanted to grow things and be proud of my front of house. money in mind - my expectations were blown. He’s a genius. The guys who build are gentlemen - going the extra mile. And to us - he’s a garden hero - maximising our space and giving me as a parent an area I can educate and entertain my son and enjoy a sun downer Thank you Luke and team. Much❤️
