Very big station holding up to 24 platforms over it being really big it’s very easy to find your platform most of the time, it’s quite crowded, but not that crowded and take you as far as Bournemouth, Reading, Guildford, Portsmouth,Southampton, and Windsor and many other stops on my way.t here are public toilets, postbox , waiting room , pubs and shop and Cafes it also has cash machines, and a waiting room. It has a help point for passengers who require information that is also an underground in the station such as Bakerloo line Jubilee line Waterloo and city line and the northern line

Waterloo station connects train service between South east and south west. This station also connects underground train services to Euston Train station. Waterloo station also known as London Waterloo, is a central London terminus on the National Rail network in the United Kingdom, in the Waterloo area of the London Borough of Lambeth. It is connected to a London Underground station of the same name and is adjacent to Waterloo East station on the South Eastern Main Line. The station is the terminus of the South West Main Line to Weymouth via Southampton, the West of England main line to Exeter via Salisbury, the Portsmouth Direct line to Portsmouth Harbour which connects with ferry services to the Isle of Wight, and several commuter services around west and south-west London, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.

The new ‘Sidings’ at London Waterloo Station off York Road. Previously known as Waterloo International Terminal (WIT) which used to house the famous Eurostar before its move over to St. Pancras. The Sidings now contains many shops and retail spaces with the biggest Brewdog Bar in the country along with a Nando’s and other coffee shops etc. do check it out when you get the chance!

Waterloo Train station.Waterloo Road,LondonSE1 8SWWaterloo station is another one of those amazing stations with a wonderful history. As with many other stations, it shares underground and overground trains.Waterloo is an enormous station and you can easily get lost. Even today, more and more tunnels, shops, restaurants, and information areas are being developed to link commuters easily and with speed to their destinations. As demand for train travel has increased.Waterloo station has been continuously developed to meet this demand. It has been and, today, it is Britain's largest and busiest station. From here, as before, you can travel to any part of the world because it has always been a place for important arrivals and departures, whether city commuters, holiday makers, Epsom race goers or armed forces, sightseeing, business and many other things. You can travel to Houses of Parliament and see the building where the government sits, see Big Ben, you can travel to dozens of Bridges, including the famous Tower Bridge amongst others. The main entrance is to the south of the junction of Waterloo Road and York Road. It is named after the eponymous bridge, which itself was named after the Battle of Waterloo, a battle that occurred exactly two years prior to the opening ceremony for the bridge.Today, Waterloo has 24 terminal platforms in use, and as we already know, this is making it the biggest station in the UK in terms of platform numbers. The station is managed by Network Rail, and all trains are operated by South Western Railway. The main entrance, known as Victory Arch, is Grade II listed and commemorates rail staff who died in WWI. It's made of Portland stone and bronze it depicts War and Peace, with Britannia holding the torch of liberty above.Serving city and country. Replacing the first terminus of the London & Southampton Railway at Nine Elms, Waterloo Station was opened in 1848 by the London & South Western Railway as part of extending the line two miles to be nearer the city. This original station, known as 'central station', had six platforms.
