Great pasties. They’d run out of meat ones so we had vegan pasties and sausage rolls which were delicious too.Only - we think we left a wallet here and just haven’t been able to get hold of the cafe! If someone from the cafe can answer our calls, or post on here if you’ve found it, would be very much appreciated! Thank you.

Lovely little cafe on the beach, dog friendly, lovely friendly staff! We had panini's for lunch with milkshakes made with real ice cream. Then later on we came back for amazing ice cream. I highly recommend to anyone by the beach

Woman that runs this place is an absolute nut job ! I live locally to the area, popped in for a toastie after a surf on my day off to be screamed at that they had stopped serving them by her, so I had a pasty that was honestly the worst I’d ever had. Then whilst sitting outside what I can only assume is her husband came over and offered a very passive apology,even sat on our table…saying that it’s her northern flare! Place is a joke disgusting food and even worse service.

Was given a steak Pasty when we had ordered a vegan pasty for my 12 yr old daughter. She ate some before realising, having not eaten meat for 5 years she was devastated and crying. I’m vegan so for me it was disgusting that this had happened. I’ve never encountered this happening before. The 2 members of staff hardly made eye contact with me, gave me a vegan one and threw the meat one into the bin, whilst indignantly saying they didn’t know how that happened. I stood paused waiting for some type of sincere apology. All we got was a casual ‘sorry’ shouted to my back literally as we left through the door.I was appalled and upset, terrible disregard and disrespect for customers. My daughter felt like she had been cheated. Offer Vegan options if you are going to take it seriously and respect your customers. Not just to make more money on what is already over inflated. Needless to say, we won’t be going back ever, and we visit Polzeath every year. I don’t suppose the staff there will be remotely bothered though. Very sad.

Great friendly team working there. Nice icecream and a good variety to chose from. The reviews moaning about grumpy staff make me laugh... Its icecream... Get over yourselves.

Please can I suggest you remove the horrible woman behind the counter that shouted at us!!! Speed of service was awful, I didn't realise they had to wait for the chicken to lay the egg!! May I suggest the ladies are enrolled on an anger management course at their earliest convenience. I was surprised to be attacked over the counter because of their mistake. Avoid at all costs.

Always a stop off point for a mid morning coffee and pasty and never disappoints. Last visit was for cheese and onion and steak pasties and 3 different types of coffee: Americano, iced coffee and affogato. All freshly prepared quickly and with a smile. Give them a visit and then use one of their dedicated tables to sit and watch the world go by. Just down the road from us so a regular haunt.

The food and coffee are average but sadly this well positioned cafe is let down by disappointing service and a lack of options for kids.There are many better options in Polzeath, with generally has great cafes and restaurants . Better food and drinks available at Flo’s bakery next to Spar or Galleons cafe on the other side of the beach car park.Hopefully things will improve over time but for now I suggest going elsewhere.

Amazing vegan pasty. Staff member also recommended the vegan sausage roll which was very nice too. Lovely way to round off our holiday.
