I go here once a week with the volunteers who do the gardening group. There is good facilities. A nursery for toddlers and a brilliant little cafe. There's also a local Dental practice. Some of the staff in the nursery could be more polite. A few weeks ago me and the rest off the gardening group were outside waiting for the nursery kids to go back indoors so we could walk through their play area to get to the garden at the back. When we asked one of the nursery staff what time the children go back in he replied They go back in when I tell them to so your just gonna have to wait" but he had a really bad attitude and sounded aggressive the way he said it. I'm not sure if anyone reported it or not but this should not be tolerated from any member off staff regardless if they work in the nursery or not."

I visited to have a covid jab. When entering the community center a gentleman was greeting everyone, taking and giving information about the procedure in a friendly and efficient manner. He made sure everyone was ready to progress to the medical team who were very proficient. All in all it was a pleasant experience. Well done to the team for making people so welcome and relaxed! I highly recommend this venue. Staff have been so friendly and helpful and Mary in the canteen makes a wicked coffee with a big smile on her face and a bit of banter. Thank you all for a really good week. :-)

A vibrant and well used community centre, it has it's own cafe with some lovely food being served. There is a dentist surgery, and a nursery too. With rooms for hire for parties meetings, whatever, a little gem of a place.

Nothing wrong with this place but only went for COVID 19 jab booster so didn't get to see facilities. Disabled friendly. Entrance not well signed for a weekend meeting

Great facilities and staff who are skilled amd work so hard for our community. We've relied on this place since 2006. I now use a wheelchair and find it easy to access. When I've had problem I've been pushed in from the car park.We love our community centre. Our daughter was in nursery here from 9 months to starting school and it felt like family.Had our own and friends' parties here, young amd old! Really flexible rooms, kitchen area outside area, we've seen lots of different setups.Youth discos on first Friday of every. Month. Dancing, hot food, tuck shop, everything our 10 year old needs for fab night out. This is my dentist, always been great. We enjoy the cafe open during the week, cheap but great 'home cooked' food.I've used employment help and accessed citizens advice beureux here.Baby groups, toddler groups, summer fetes, Xmas Panto, crafts, dancing clubs, youth events, live music festival .......So many community centres are fading out... Ours is alive and thriving!
