Following my son’s entry into secondary school I became aware he desperately needed support with his English understanding and academic confidence.He is bright and mature but I became aware he lacked the key knowledge that would allow him to flourish academically, I felt my lack of expertise and involvement was damaging his confidence further.Kip offered my son a logical learning structure which built his comprehension and critical understanding and also demonstrated how to tackle each English skill area successfully.The Kip teaching team were experienced, incredibly supportive and were able to quickly locate and teach the missing skills and knowledge. The Kip centre was able to offer palatable lessons at a convenient time for us.The whole experience has led to a positive outcome which is benefitting my son long-term.

Fantastically fabulous! Dave, Sue and the tutors are a positive ray of sunshine, my daughter's confidence has sky rocketed and she really looks forward to each session. Can't recommend enough, thank you!

Kip McGrath has been great for both of my children it has helped to increase their confidence with English. I am especially pleased as my son has recently received his GCSE results and his English grade was significantly higher than his predictions. Thanks to all at Kip McGrath Derby South.

My daughter has attended the sessions at the Derby South Centre. The Teachers were brilliant. She has received certificates at school for her maths and her Class Teacher noticed her confidence had improve. I would recommend their service. Thanks to the staff, Sue & Dave.

We have been a part of the Kip McGrath family for many years.. Calum has grown in so much confidence from the start of his educational journey at Kip.. I cannot praise the tutors highly enough of the contribution they have made to his learning and progress. My own experience has been one of such kindness and support from Dave & Sue.. Well done Kip.

Please don’t be put of by the location of this education centre, there is free parking and from the minute you walk through the door you receive a warm welcome from Dave, Sue and all the children. My son initially went for extra tuition in Maths, but also ended up receiving tuition in English. Kip not only provided the extra tuition but Sue and Dave also worked to improve his confidence in these subjects. The result (based on his last mocks) was a 2 grade improvement in Maths and a 4 grade improvement in English. I can’t thank Sue and Dave enough for their help.

My daughter enjoyed her face to face sessions at KIP with Sue; she can be hard to engage sometimes but when she is taught by Sue she is highly motivated to learn - which is a joy to see. Since lock down and the introduction of online lessons she now looks forward to these too, and she is always upbeat and positive afterwards. We're very happy with service.

Dave and Sue do a fantastic job as do all the tutors at the Allenton branch. They are very attentive, genuine, caring people and great communicators. I cannot fault the service in any way shape or form. There is parking directly outside, it’s in a convenient location. I would highly recommend Kip McGrath if you are looking to get your child some additional support with their learning. I would definitely use the service again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.. it’s been a pleasure. Thanks guys! ps - my daughter got expected in maths for year 6 sats :)
