Baja Mexicali Whiteley
Food was fine but evening spoilt by manager who refused to move us from the table right next to the toilet and 12 inches from the occupied table next to us on the grounds they were fully booked. Tempted to just walk out but would have incurred the no show charge and wanted to see if food was as good as reviews indicate. It was virtually empty on arrival at 1845 and still just as empty 40 minutes later as we were getting ready to leave. Won't be going back (unfortunately cannot post the picture in this review to show).

Baja Mexicali Whiteley
Decided to try Baja Mexicali on a whim and we're glad we did! We tried a range from the menu and everything, including the mocktails, was full of flavour and really well delivered.The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The mood was relaxing and it was just a good time. The food was delivered in good time too.Will definitely be back in the future.

Called in here on the off chance of a table on Tuesday and wasn’t disappointed. They seated us at the high table in the middle of the restaurant and the chairs were very comfortable. Staff were so friendly so much choice on the menu and it was all delicious. The atmosphere was buzzing will 100% go back.

1st time eating at this restaurant. It's small and cosy, great atmosphere and the staff were absolutely great. They kept checking up on our table and were friendly. I had ordered a pork belly taco, it looked great but had no flavour and was a bit dry. My wife had ordered a prawn and chorizo taco, that looked great and was really tasty. Their chips are just out of this world, absolutely loved them.It's a great setup, the kitchen is all open and you can see the chef making all the food. My only recommendation is, when it's cold try not to sit by the door. Lunch time was really busy and every time someone came in or left, I felt the wind and just made me a bit uncomfortable.I will definitely return but will try something different. Don't think tacos are for me.

Enjoyed our visit here. Chicken and Pineapple quesadillas were very good. Was it worth £40 for two mains and two sharing sides. Suppose that is the average price for two people eating out these days. Slightly pricey for what you get in my opinion but very nice still.

Delicious tacos and burritos.Great place for a quick bite. We ordered loaded nachos, fish tacos and a steak burrito , with verde rice as a side.Everything tasted great, the staff checked in on us several times to make sure we were happy and brought us additional drinks very promptly. It’s a small restaurant but the decor is very cute.I would say the tacos were on the pricier side since you only get two per portion.

Decided to try Baja whilst we were in the area. The place is much smaller than we imagined it would be, but with it's atmosphere, it doesn't actually matter!Food was delicious, especially the wings!Decor was vibrant and the higher chairs surprisingly more comfortable than they look like they would be!Only small downside is the service could have been a little more warmer.Would visit again if we were local.
