BOC Gas & Gear

I was looking for a carbon dioxide cylinder for my planted fish tank. The staff was really helpful - I was explained what they can offer, advantages/disadvantages of different types of cylinders etc.

From Xmas eve despite website saying open. It wasn't but according to THEIR website not opening til AFTER New Year. How ridiculous! I turned up 8am Xmas eve and waited and waited, boxing day called and called so going to b and m as selling flohas, same 13KG for £31 otherwise I'll f freeze to deat, banking on BOC. Don't want Calor. .Can't trust company websites. You'd expect them to keep them up to date and no I wasn't using Google info. Which is often incorrect, ,but their own website and the answering phone just says can't take your call plz leave message" no opening hours info. Fabulous!!!!"

Great staff super knowledgeable and helpful

I contacted Boc to get a nitrogen high pressure safety valve. I dealt with Rob Stanton. The bloke was a credit to Boc and helped me with my question on what I was after. He also delivered it to me ( only 2 miles away) . I had another query about how I was to connect it to the accumulators I use . He went away and came back the next day with a collection of possible solutions. One of his solutions worked. Cannot recommend Boc and Rob highly enough, fantastic service and very good price also….. hence 5*****Defo will recommend this site to others in the area ….
