Love the atmosphere, action and ease of access. Still the best Speedway track in UK!

My favourite place to be on a Monday night to watch the aces! Can't beat the smell, atmosphere and performance.The national speedway stadium is very spacious and clean, all the amenities you need such as clean toilets and food.

Excellent sports complex and reasonably priced. They have lots of sports including American Football and soccer and motor racing. There's a nice stadium and good parking facilities. Have always been very accomodating for us. Good indoor facilities too.

My lads played on the stadium pitch, my number 11 killed it down the wing !!!! 6 - 1 win

If you've never been to Speedway, and you're interested - definitely book tickets and give it a watch. It's easy to find and whilst you have to pay for on-site parking - there's plenty of side streets around that you can park for free and walk across to.The racing itself is very good - this is the best track in the country, so there's lots of great races. If you don't understand the sport, I recommend that you watch a short video on how it works. If you like this sort of thing, you'll have a good time.The food and drink prices are very good and the views from both the south stand and the main grandstand are very good.The only reason why this doesn't get a perfect score is because sometimes the security guards can be pushy and I came across one particular jobsworth security guard who had a problem with me drinking out of a can, even though there's no signs or mention that cans are forbidden here.Other than some of the security staff, it's a nice day out.

Great day out food is really good and the pies are fantastic. Good friendly atmosphere and value for money. £36 for meal and seats im the stand.

I went to a Christening there last weekend, nice venue bright airy clean and modern but one of the bar staff sat there with a very sour look on her face most of the time i was there, i was nearly charged £10 for a shot of JD luckily another staff member stepped in to correct it £4.I wonder how many more mistakes were made that day! We noticed them talking and scrawling their faces while talking about another guest too, disgusting!Then when it was coming to the end of the evening, staff just came to the table and started taking the seat and table covers off not even an excuse me! Sorry! Or a smile! very rude. Spoilt the day.

What a cracking night out.Really enjoyed my first visit to Britain's prime track.Racing is fast and furious so vastly different from most of the slower, smaller tracks.Not far from city centre, even by local bus.
