Easily accessible and you can use this train station to get to Luton airport. You can pay contactless to enter and it should take around 40 minutes to get to the airport.

The view from Blackfriers Station just makes my day. On a clear morning, it's magical. Great for tourists. There's also a Costa coffee on platform 2, which is lovely to sit and watch the world go by.

Every time I come here I love it! Blackfriars station is a must see for tourists. Standing on the rail platform I watched the busy river Thames and the tourists on the banks heading to art galleries etc! I feel a sense of inner calm every time I’m at the National rail platforms at this station. I regret not taking many pictures but I was just nice and early for my train and loving it. Even the staff are friendly, helpful and chilled out here! The fact that during my transfer from the underground to national rail there were clean toilets (no fee charged) was a massive bonus too! I look forward to coming back here very soon.

I have a soft spot for this station. Correct me if I'm wrong. This is one of the only stations that sits on both sides of the Thames.Clean and bright with great views of the Thames.

Beware of the southbank entrance, Closed ticket office & ONLY ONE WORKING TICKET MACHINE, which was glitchy!Needs to massively improve its rubbish infrastructure

The new Blackfriars station is a synergy of modern glass and steel with a Victorian bridge. It has some of the best views of the river in London. You can also get trains here, 24 hours a day to both Luton and Gatwick airports. It has the district and circle line underground and a plethora of buses, taxis and boats

Have used this train station a few times, most often to visit the south bank in London. When exiting the station look on the wall and follow the signs... it's very easy to exit on the wrong side of the river! This station has stunning views across the river, on a clear sunny day, the view is beautiful
