Absolutely lovely food. We live in Ancoats but came down to visit a friend. We had the chef’s special paneer makhani, the grilled fish tikka, pilau, onion bhaji, and popadoms. The food quality was much better than some of the restaurants I’ve eaten at in the city centre. The fish in particular was delicious; marinaded in plenty of tikka infused yoghurt and cooked to perfection, it simply melts in the mouth. Please come and sit in. The staff are lovely and welcoming, the air con was at a delightful temperature, and the quirky walls are scattered with cute nods to their customers. In terms of pricing, the wine (gigantic glass) was under £5, and the entire bill came to about £30. Incredible pricing compared to what we are used to in Ancoats! It’s a 15 min tram ride from New Islington - get down here now!

Recently we celebrated my spouse birthday here with a group of friends. The restaurant is run by sweet indian couple, the ambience and food was amazing.I called them and asked if they could accommodate us as we made last minute reservations. The team was very sweet and accommodated us right away and we already prepped.Even-though we ordered a lot of dishes, the service was spot on and did not take long for the food to arrive. You must try this if little gem of restaurant. Highly recommend!

We were accommodated at 10pm on a Saturday after the football when we decided to get a curry on a whim. It's just a wonderful curry house - all chefs specials and curated starters. We all like a meat and rice and sauce and starter curry house but M2L gives you the proper choice of curries you want with the perfect sides. It's so bloody tasty, eat there!

This place is the single most tasty South Asian food I have ever tasted. If I ever can't be bothered to cook, this place is first on the list. Please, if you are stuck for where to eat, give this place a try. I can guarantee you will not regret it!

The first time we visited this restaurant after our friend recommended it to us and we read about the background of the restaurant and the owner, Mr. Vinod Singh, on their website.Initially, we found the restaurant to be superb, but our recent visits have been disappointing. The vada pav, in particular, is always a gamble. It's unclear whether this is due to the time we usually visit - Fridays and weekends.A couple of days ago, we decided to get takeout, as my daughter loves the paneer makhani from here, along with some other vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries and breads. I also asked for the vada pav again, but unfortunately, it was not available. Furthermore, when we got home and opened the other dishes, we noticed that the oil was floating on all the curries. The naan bread and chat were decent, but the chicken wings were undercooked. We have decided to take a break from this restaurant and revisit it after a few months. If the quality continues to decline, we will remove it from our list of favorites.Thank you.

Restaurant Review: Mumbai to LondonI recently had the pleasure of dining at Mumbai to London, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a menu filled with delicious Indian cuisine that truly captures the authentic flavors. As a group of nine, we had the opportunity to sample several dishes, and we were not disappointed. To start, the garlic bread was a standout. It was beautifully prepared, with a lovely, fluffy texture that melted in your mouth. The flavors were spot-on, showcasing the attention to detail put into each dish. However, while the food itself was excellent, the service left something to be desired. Given the size of our group, it seemed the restaurant struggled to efficiently cater to us. The food arrived in drips and drabs, which disrupted the flow of the meal and left some of us waiting longer than others. Despite this, the staff was friendly and attentive, doing their best to accommodate our needs. In terms of pricing, the dishes were fairly priced. However, one issue we encountered was the portion size. They were quite small, leaving us wanting more. As a result, we ended up ordering extra food to satisfy our appetites fully. It would be great if the restaurant could consider offering more generous portions in the future. On a positive note, the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant. The tables were nicely spaced out, providing a comfortable and intimate dining experience. The quirky decor added a unique touch, creating a visually appealing atmosphere. Moreover, the cleanliness and tidiness of the place were commendable, contributing to a pleasant dining environment.Parking might be a slight inconvenience, as there is no parking available outside the restaurant. However, a retail park nearby offers both free and paid parking options, making it reasonably convenient for patrons. In conclusion, Mumbai to London offers a delicious array of Indian cuisine with authentic flavors. While the service could be improved, the overall experience was positive. The restaurant's quirky ambiance, combined with its cleanliness and tidy appearance, adds to its charm. Keep in mind that the portion sizes may be on the smaller side, but the flavors make up for it. If you're looking for an enjoyable dining experience with authentic Indian cuisine, Mumbai to London is a place worth considering.

Visited here by one of my friends recommendations and I absolutely loved it, we had chilli chicken, lamb samosa and samosa chat for starters , they're so amazing and after that we had lamb curry, chicken Tikka and prawns , pilau rice and garlic nan for mains, we loved it, especially for lamb curry, the flavors are so amazing. I will recommend this place for sure, we came from Salford and it's worth it. Please do visit this place for authentic Indian taste. I will visit soon.

This must be one of the best restaurants I have eaten Indian food at, normally we go to Kashmiri or Bengali restaurants/takeaway.This was quite a different experience, with salads and pomegranate a bound. If you want normal UK style 'Indian' food this may not be for you, ....but if you are ready to try something different, it's a pure delight.
