Italian Passport Consular Services

Can anyone give me the number to this place, everytime I ring it says line busy,, have they changed number or is it still the same

This place is a bloody joke. Mine and my dad's appointment was in April. We didn't get a phone call to say it would be cancelled but luckily we just assumed due to Covid-19. Now you try ringing the number on the website for Bedford (which is the number we originally rang) and it says it's not recognised. Then you ring the one for London and they still don't answer. SO I send an email to the London address asking if they could help and their response was to contact Bedford, although I told them the number isn't recognised. Our passports are due expire in July, so we can't go away even if we wanted to. My dad is unable to travel to London due to his age. Totally useless!!! These are moments when I wish I had a British passport.

Horrendous. The phone is hardly ever answered. After completing my passport application in March at this office . It was sent to London . The application has just been returned to me informing me after having an Italian passport for almost 68 years that I am not registered with the A. I.R.E in Italy.Absolute joke!!!This type of service is not acceptable . Now I cannot get through to the office either .Nightmare !!! So what do I do?

The man working here was very kind but currently there is noone at the office who has power to issue passports or send off applications. The office is currently only able to offer advice to Italian citizens but cannot provide any consulate services.

It's not easy to get an appointment here, but once you have one the service is excellent. A much better experience than at the London Consulate! My passport application was processed quickly and the passport arrived sooner than I thought it would.

Absolutely out of order my mother (who is 71yrs old) had an appointment today which was given to her eight months ago and no-one was there and they didn't even phone her to cancel it, we drove from cambridge I am shocked and angry, she needs to renew her passport for settlement status, this is very important and theyDon't seem to give a toss, you call them and no-one ever picks up the phone you email them and get ignored you write to them ignored again what a bloody joke, if I could give them -10 stars I would,.

The people there are very good . even the way they will talk to you makes you feel at home . I wish those in London will do same

Its easier to get an appointment with them than my doctors! Two gentlemen doing the job perfectly!The experience so far has been wonderful, no delays, zero disrespect, and so helpful!
