I have had both my knees replaced by Mr Kim, and have found the whole experience very straightforward. Mr Kim is very approachable and has spent a lot of time making sure I know what to expect. He is very attentive. The stay at the Spire Hospital was excellent, and the follow up with physio just what I needed. It is wonderful to be pain free after many years of arthritis.I can fully recommend his treatment and care.

Had a Total Robotic Knee Replacement with Winston Kim, I found the attention and detail regarding this as excellent, Mr Kim was always available to answer questions, and some 9 weeks after the operation I am able to walk distances and drive, Physio wise the Alexander Hospital were attentive, but if I had a criticism of that Dept, I would amend the knee classes for less rigorous exercise.As Mr Kim states listen to your body, I would certainly recommend Mr Kim, whom also has a very polite and courteous secretary in Shabnam

From my 1st consultation with Mr Kim i was filled with total confidence that I would love my new hip. Mr KIm took so much time listening to my requirements for my lifestyle, explained all procedures , timescales etc and from the 1st consultation i had my full left hip replacement done within 3 weeks. Absolutely EVERYBODY were so charming, knowledgeable, courteous, it was an amazing experience. I was in overnight and after seeing physio the next day and being able to go up and down stairs was allowed to go home straight away, with exercises to do and all follow up appointments booked, and able to call Spire or Mr Kim at any time if any concerns. I am now 6 weeks on , comfortable walking 5 miles, i use a static bike and go to the gym and use cross trainers , keeping all low impact. I am recovering in leaps and bounds, pain free and can only thank Mr Kim, his wonderful theatre team, the nurses and physios at Spire for their fantastic care and attention. THANKYOU. I recently had my hip replacement by Mr Kim .. l was completely put at ease by Mr Kim and the staff . I was in so much pain ..Mr Kim told me the pain would go and he was one hundred percent right..the care l received from Mr Kim and staff was fantastic nothing was to much trouble ..l was in and out within three days.and the after care is fantastic l am so grateful to him. My robot-assisted total hip replacement surgery was carried out by Mr Kim and his team in May. I am now totally pain free after many years of difficulty. Making an appointment and getting a surgery date was quick and straightforward. Mr Kim provides a professional and caring service, and is happy to take time to answer my many questions and to put me at my ease. The whole team including theatre staff, nursing aftercare and physios are calm, caring and efficient.

I first saw Mr Kim in April after finding it very easy and quick to make an appointment. He put me at my ease straight away and spent a considerable amount of time explaining what would happen with my hip replacement. I found him friendly and approachable always. Everything went very smoothly with the operation; I have recently had my post-op appointment and again it was a very positive experience. I would certainly want Mr Kim to carry out any further replacements and was always confident in his professionalism and expertise.

Wonderful experience with Mr Kim and the whole Manchester Hip and Knee team. From the first appointment Mr Kim put my 77 year old mum at ease. He gave her all the options and information about the Mako procedure. She never felt pressured into making a decision at any point, just fully informed. The admin team are so lovely and no query or question is a problem. The Op at the Spire Manchester went perfectly. Physio and post op care brilliant. She’s so glad she had her knee replacement done with Mr Kim and would recommend him and Manchester Hip and Knee to everyone.

Mr Kim performed my robot assisted hip replacement in May . Prior to this I was in a lot of pain and found walking difficult.I have been very impressed both with Mr Kim and the whole process.Mr Kim put me at ease straight away and explained in detail what would happen.I can now walk with no pain and have regained control of my hip and leg .
