Had a voice reel produced here recently which I cannot fault. Rhys, along with Eleri, created a very comfortable and professional working environment, which, with it being my first time in a recording studio, put me right at ease. As we recorded, Rhys provided useful and practical direction which I feel benefitted the recording. Communication was very smooth and the turnaround was very quick in receiving the finished reel. I would highly recommend!

I had a fantastic voice reel session with Rhys at Hoot Studios and received my brand new demo track soon afterwards. I am extremely pleased with the results! I felt like I was guided through the process well and I loved working with his direction to generate a performace I was really happy with.Super welcoming atmosphere, great communication, highly recommended.

I used Hoot to record a voice reel. The recording session was fun and very enjoyable, they provided plenty of examples of different kinds of material to read out loud, commercials, literature and documentary VO. Though I took my time I never felt rushed and they made sure I got what I wanted. Rhys was great to work with, good humoured and professional. I'm very happy with the quality of the finished product it's excellent. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Rhys is fast to put you at ease and make you feel very comfortable in the studio be it your first time or 100th. This being my first time recording in a professional studio (rather than under my duvet!) I found it to be a fun, relaxing and rewarding experience. Anyone looking to record a voice-reel for themselves I highly recommend Rhys and Hoot Studios for their professionalism, warmness and Rhys' ability to bring the best out of you during your session.

Not only was the finished product excellent, but the whole experience was actually fun and much easier than I'd anticipated. I commissioned Rhys Young and Hoot Studios to record the first three novels in the Inspector Drake mystery series. The process has been a very positive experience and I found Rhys to be helpful and professional. Communication was excellent and the standard of production first class. I was thoroughly pleased with the audio books produced and all the feedback from listeners has been positive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rhys and Hoot studios and I shall be looking forward to working with him again in the future.
