I achieved this carving in 3 days; I’m a complete novice! Simon is a great teacher. It is such a rewarding experience. Meditative and exciting, all at the same time. What fun!

To commemorate our 50th year serving the local and wider community Guildford Lions Club were pleased to engaged Simon to create a floor plaque at Guildford Cathedral. Simon worked with the difficult floor slabs and the Club Members were very pleased with the results which can be seen by any visitor to the Cathedral. Excellent work.

I have been on a couple of Simon’s weekend courses - he is a fabulous tutor giving just the right amount of tuition and support to suit his students whether complete beginners or others who are just being reminded of the tools and techniques and need a bit of advice. A weekend is a perfect length of time to finish a piece. I have met some lovely people on his courses. And there are great local pubs that do B&B if too far away to go home. If you want to have a go or get back into stone carving - I thoroughly recommend Simon’s courses. Who knows, I might see you on one in the future!

Simon did the most beautiful job of my mother's headstone. He was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Most probably not the most challenging job for him judging by his other work, but faultless nonetheless. I would highly reccomend him.

Several years ago my sister and I commissioned Simon to make a headstone for our late mother. We have just revisited her grave and the intricate design of wisteria blossom really stands out now that the stone has weathered. Beautiful. Thank you Simon.

As part of a major building and landscaping project we commissioned Simon to create a large, carved stone water bowl, with decoration. This is displayed at the White Eagle Lodge, Hampshire. Simon provided great input into the design and was easy to work with. The end result exceeded our expectations.
