Woodman's Cider

This experience was a birthday gift and was excellent. Have been to other cider tastings, but this was more informative, more friendly and definitely more fun than the others. The ciders were excellent and the hosts fantastic. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

I've tried a variety of ciders and enjoyed them all! It's really refreshing to drink a proper traditional handmade cider rather than the overly sweet sickly mainstream ciders!

Lovely afternoon getting to taste & understand Traditional cider, hosted by a real enthusiast who started brewing cider in his garage using local apples. Gordon has a wealth of knowledge. Well worth a try.

We really enjoyed finding out all about real cider and the differences between the different ciders in the range that Gordon produces. It was lovely to hear his passion for great cider as well as learn good food pairings and find our favourite styles. Well worth attending and would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed last Saturday's cider tasting event (July 24th '21).As newcomers to cider (excluding teenage experiments with Wrongbow etc) we were incredibly surprised at the range and differences between the various fermentations. Gordon was an amazing host, very honest, natural and knowledgeable, friendly and absolutely passionate about his love of apples and cider production.We tasted a wide range of this years' ciders and he carefully explained how each one would be different from the next - very much like wine tasting; depending on tanins, acidity and environment. I think it's fair to say that cider runs in his blood.Thank you Gordon (and thanks to your wife for all her support).
