The Garden Builders - Garden Design

Our first experience of Garden Builders was several years ago when they totally re-landscaped our front and rear gardens. The results were excellent and therefore we contacted them again this year for some further works which we wished to have carried out. The job was completed last month and we are delighted with the result. The Garden Builders turned up each day on time, come rain or shine, and were very obliging and efficient. The Garden Builders are a fantastic company. Although a different perspective from other reviews here; I had worked at the Garden Builders for the last 8 months as the Marketing Manager and I can truly say these are a great group of people; who really do work hard to make sure that everything is perfect. Having seen them work from within, a lot of work is put into making sure that everything is seamless. From the lighting, customer service, planting and just ensuring that the client is happy; they take that very seriously here. I am very grateful for being able to work at such a company and I wish them all the best in the future. Should they continue as they are, they will by far be London's biggest and most sought after Garden Design and Builders.

The brief was to design and build a new garden that involved extending my existing decking, replacing the worn-out grass with artificial turf, and planting, as well as lighting and irrigation. Ricky did a superb job creating a garden that looks amazing, with a simple and clean design that should be easy to maintain. The suggestions were all great, and they didn't try to up-sell me things I didn't need. For the work itself, Elenko and the whole team were professional, and everything was delivered on time and on budget

Ricky and his team were both professional and efficient in building to the garden design. They kept us informed throughout the process. The staff were all personable and friendly. They were tidy and protected our patio tiles with coverings while they used heavy equipment like rotavators. They cleaned up after themselves and were happy to give us tips and advice on caring for the garden. We were so impressed by the quality of their work, that we had them back for a day to tidy the garden in the first Autumn. I think they were worth every penny of their fee.

We used The Garden Builders for our significant landscaping job in 2022 and could not be more thrilled with the result. We had our garden designed (rough drawings only, no technical info) elsewhere but implemented by the Garden builders. Ricky ran the project for us with his foreman Elenko with the utmost professionalism. The work was incredibly messy – digging up a 20m x 15m garden in central London which they had to take through the house (no side entrance). The disturbance to us was minimal and they kept everything very clean considering the traffic through the house. They built the kitchen area from scratch with built in cupboards and a beautiful shed also. Other skilful aspects of the work included gas fitted fire bowl and sinking of a hot tub whilst maintaining access to it, as well as a full irrigation system. Any time a problem came up Ricky and his team were ever helpful and produced innovative solutions that did not compromise on the design of the build. Furthermore, they helped us with the planting and managed to convince me to go for more seasonality in the plants whilst still providing screening / privacy for us. This advise was invaluable and we really do enjoy seeing the garden change with the seasons. It’s been nearly a whole year since the garden was completed and we are still in love with it. Since the build I have found the team incredibly responsive and helpful if any snagging or problems have arisen. Overall, I cannot recommend the garden builders highly enough.

The Garden Builders rebuilt and landscaped our Company's Central London Georgian House's garden to a very high standard. Neil and his team were excellent from initial quote through to follow up actions after the job. Nothing was too difficult and every detail and problem thought through to a solution. We could not recommend The Garden Builders more highly and especially our foreman Velko. Neil was a pleasure to work with as was Darryl their charming electrician. The team are hard working professionals and all really cared that we were happy and that the job was finished to a high standard. The garden needed levelling and they had to move an immense amount of soil through the house which they did neatly and with consideration. And above all, we admit we are fairly particular, and Velko’s attention to detail surpassed our expectations entirely especially with the perfection of the trellising and the stone paving. Huge thanks to the whole team for creating our long awaited dream garden!

During the design stage, Neil perfectly understood what we were looking for, and came up with a great design that really exceeded our expectations, while being open to feedback during creative iterations. The budget was totally clear and fair and turned out to be spot on. A few weeks after design was finalised, the team started the works - they proved to be very skilled, friendly, organised, pro active, efficient and professional - which made the works go smoothly and pleasantly. We were kept informed of any challenges and were able to adapt some of the designs as we went and appreciated their flexibility. We are grateful to Keri, Nasco, Pepe, Daryl and the rest of the team for their dedication to quality work. Our garden has been transformed and we will enjoy it for many years to come.

The Garden Builders transformed my garden into a haven in just a few short weeks. Incredibly knowledgeable and with an extreamly talented workforce. The garden was build with mm precision as it was designed. I can also highly recommend Lynne Marcus if you are in need of a Garden Designer.

I cannot speak highly enough of The Garden Builders! They completely renovated my garden with new drainage and porcelain tiling based on a beautiful design from Lilly and Day. They quoted 6 weeks start to finish and it was indeed done within that timeframe and budget despite additional hurdles and design changes. The team was efficient, diligent and courteous- a pleasure to have on site. They had to hand carry all the old materials through my flat, but left it immaculate afterwards. Neil, Sam and Mitchell were an absolute stars- often suggesting changes to the design that really made an impact and working weekends to get the job done on time. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a garden renovation done on time and on budget!!
