Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff who are passionate about animals. I recently took one of my dogs, a chihuahua, Chickpea, who was feeling poorly, to their out of hours clinic at 11pm and both the receptionist and the vet working that night were extremely friendly and helpful. The vet explained every option and scenario to me in detail and I could really sense that she loved her job and knew what she was doing. I am definitely going to be registering all my three dogs with them.Many thanks for your hard work.Elika

The staff at this clinic are very understanding and compassionate. When no other emergency clinic would even pick up the phone to us, they answered our call and told us to come.We were too far away and we arrived too late to save our little cat's life but I appreciate their kindness and empathy for me at that tragic time.I would definitely recommend and wish I lived closer so I could use this as a regular vet.

Took rabbit in for a check up. Told us it was his teeth. Went under & didnt make it. He died a healthy rabbit.Report came back as could have Myxomatosis BUT his initial check showed he was fine & healthy.Other rabbits we got are fine too.All I want to do, is trust a vet. I would rather trust a hungry fox.

I had to change vets recently since my local vet shut down unexpectedly. I took my 3 dogs along to Mead for their boosters and it was the most friendliest easiest time I have experienced at a vet! Efficient, lovely environment, easy parking and very friendly staff.

I was very impressed that I was able to register my dogs and get a same day appointment for one of them without having to pay an emergency appointment price. The receptionists were lovely, helpful and polite, and the vet we saw was very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this vets. I thought the price for a consultantation and a week's antibiotics for my dog was very reasonable. Wish I had joined sooner.

Sadly our dog Bella had become very sick so we decided to put her to sleep last Sunday at this vets as it was the closest emergency vet to us. It felt strange to us taking her to a vet she had never been too before but I now feel like this was the best place we could have taken her to. The vet Luis who did it was so lovely and made the awful time just that little bit better for us. He gave us as much time as we needed before and after with her and he was stroking her in between. The reception staff were lovely too and were speaking very calmly to us. They also sent us a card a few days after which was so kind and you could tell that they care a lot about animals and their owners. Thank you mead vets.

I have always found this vets to be very friendly and understanding especially the receptionists who have to deal with a lot.With my previous cat Gypsi (they were very prompt & compassionate when she was ill and I was allowed with her when she passed).With my current cat Elsie I got a quick appointment date and some advice when I popped in about her. Her appointment went as smoothly as it could for a feisty cat lolWould highly recommend Mead Veterinary Centre for the friendliness and care the cats and myself have received.

Came here at midnight thinking my cat would need to be put down and staff were excellent. The vet investigated, found an abscess and already the cat is improving rapidly. Can’t thank them enough or recommend them more highly.
