Pauntley Court

Pauntley Court is a family-owned wedding venue that's just fantastic for getting married. I've taken photos at a few weddings here, and every time, I'm blown away by how beautiful it is. Melissa, who owns the place, is super nice and really helpful in making sure everything goes smoothly. The inside is so elegant and luxurious, which sets a great backdrop for photos. And the gardens are just perfect, full of flowers that change with the seasons, making the whole venue feel even more special. I really recommend this place for your dream wedding.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding than Pauntley, a perfect mix of something special while still being able to create the more relaxed atmosphere we were looking for. The house itself is lovely, but it was the grounds that made it for us, giving the perfect setting for our outdoor wedding between the quince trees. The Pauntley team were also brilliant, right from meeting Melissa at the start, through Holly making sure everything ran so smoothly on the day, keeping us completely worry free on logistics, to Rachel who provides perfect support for all those around the day, making it an even more relaxed and enjoyable experience. It was a perfect few days and a time we'll always remember, we couldn't recommend Pauntley highly enough.

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to get married than Pauntley Court. The first time we went we both instantly knew it was the right place for us, it has a special feel about it as soon as you arrive. The house is amazing, decorated beautifully throughout with so many nice touches. The gardens are incredible, and we loved that there are so many different areas to use within it over the weekend. We loved having the venue for the whole weekend as it meant we were able to celebrate with friends and family on Friday and Sunday too which made the weekend even more exciting.We really wanted our wedding to be as personalised to us as possible, and we were able to achieve this so easily - choosing our catering company/bar company/where we wanted different aspects of the day to take place etc. This all meant that our wedding had a bespoke feel to it and we loved how our day was different to all others before.We were lucky enough to have amazing weather on our wedding day and had our ceremony outside on the ceremony lawn. It truly felt like we were at a destination wedding due to it being such a beautiful venue and location - so many guests said they felt like they had been transported to Italy or France! Melissa the owner is so lovely and always happy to help. Rachel the housekeeper is an amazing asset to the team and definitely saved the day at one point! We had Holly as our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely incredible, she made me feel so calm and comfortable on the day knowing it would all run smoothly in her safe hands. My partner and I had been looking for a wedding venue for quite a while, we wanted something to suit our small numbers but still with a luxury vibe. The first time we saw Pauntley Court we both knew that this was where our wedding needed to be. Melissa is amazing, she is so friendly and knowledgeable, and you can feel how much she loves Pauntley Court. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are just exquisite. There were so many options for the dining area, ceremony location, socialising etc, no detail was missed and no request was too big or small to be accommodated. Jilly was our wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond in terms of helping us make the most of our special day. We had numerous meetings beforehand, and she spent the whole day working away in the background making sure we had the most perfect day. Which we did! We also hired Rachel to help with tidying and washing up in the mornings, and she was an absolute godsend. Her help allowed us to just relax and enjoy our day to the fullest. She cooks a mean breakfast too! Thank you all for everything xxx

We were looking for an intimate venue where we could welcome family and friends to our ceremony, reception and offer rooms for them to stay. Pauntley Court allowed us to do this perfectly. Having the gorgeous house and grounds all to ourselves Friday to Sunday meant that guests could spend time together, and we were amazed just how quickly we felt at home.Having the Pauntley teams' support in planning on the lead up and being there to support us on the day meant that everything ran smoothly. Pauntley Court is so beautiful and was the most perfect venue for our intimate wedding. Our ceremony between the quince trees was like something out of a fairytale and was truly magical!Melissa and team were so welcoming, while Rachel and Holly were fantastic at supporting us throughout to make our day so special.

We had simply the most magical wedding at Pauntley Court. The venue truly is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need for your wedding weekend. We were initially drawn to the house itself but the rest of the grounds and the church being so close sealed the deal for us!On our wedding weekend, we checked in on Friday and were warmly welcomed by Melissa, Jilly and Rachel and then spent the day setting up bits and pieces ready for our big day. We just loved being able to have our family stay over for the whole weekend and really get to relax and enjoy the celebrations.Jilly was our wedding co-ordinator and was so helpful during the whole process, from planning right through to the big day. She took away the stress of having to make decisions on the day and was just so helpful and warm to all of our guests. Jilly is extremely knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. We were so lucky to have her!If we could do it all again, we wouldn’t change a thing!

If you can get married at Pauntley Court, you should get married there! I won't repeat everything from the other reviews but they are all true! This is such a special and unique venue, and the set up of having the whole place to yourselves gives such flexibility. We changed so many aspects of our plans the day before due to the weather forecast and it was no problem at all. Melissa and her team are so kind and welcoming; no detail is too small for them to do everything they can to help you. Being able to host your guests for two nights on site, all in stunning bedrooms with views over the gorgeous Gloucestershire countryside, is so special. I could write pages about how beautiful and serene the house and grounds are, but the only way to appreciate it is to go there and feel it for yourself. Our guests said they never wanted to leave!
