I I paid £160 for the first visit to tell me that my toilet pipe was blocked, the engineer fiddled with it for about 10 15 minutes and said it was fixed. A couple of hours later I rang the company and said its not fixed, still not working, they came out again and charged me another £80 and it still wasn't fixed. When I rang the company, the boss was always away from his desk, out of the office, on the phone to someone else, he'll call me back, never happened. The worst thing is that they don't send you an invoice, you have to pay on the day before they leave.In my experience, never use Stamford Plumbing, total rip off company.

I had my new bathroom installed by Stamford Plumbing, I had used them before as they usually service and occasionally fix my ageing boiler! All the work was completed to an excellent standard, it has exceeded my expectations! The project was well managed and the team kept the house clean and tidy. They were always courteous and punctual. Every detail was taken care of and they certainly go the extra mile! Big thanks to Anthony, Howard and Mark.

Loved the fact they sent me a text the day before to confirm they were coming, and then when they were on route with an eta, brilliant. The engineer was really polite and friendly and did a brilliant job. I'm now a lot warmer in my house. Thank you.

A first class job from start to finish. Installed a new bathroom for us, excellent knowledge and was very clear with explanations and costs. Professional staff on site and very friendly and polite. Did exactly what they said they would and the end result was a stunning finish. Would highly recommend this local firm for any plumbing/heating works.

Stamford Plumbing have been servicing my boiler and gas fire for a couple of years now after I terminated my British Gas Homecare agreement as cost had gone up so much. Have also used Stamford Plumbing for a couple of plumbing emergencies. They are excellent! Such wonderful customer service on the phone. They phone back when they say they will and the engineers are always super-polite and professional when they arrive. Appointments are confirmed by text and email which is another plus. Just today they managed to squeeze me in on a very busy day as my heating wasn't working after switching on for first time in five months - thank you!!! Even if they're not able to fit me in immediately, I'd always wait for these guys rather than use someone else if at all possible. I trust them and the quality of their service. Totally recommended and see you next time!

Technician from Stamford Plumbing arrived on time to change my gas hob. Fully profesional service. Clean and tidy. Highly recommended. Thanks guys for your help and quick response.

Used a few times before and they were ok. Recently they came out to investigate a leaking shower lever, a leaking shower hose and a faulty radiator valve. All fixable we were told and they would order parts in and come back to fit soon. They then wanted paying for the investigative work which I thought was strange as only usually pay on completion of the job but we paid anyway as we’d used them before and they were fine. Several weeks later despite constant calls to them we’ve heard nothing from them (they never answer the phone) and our shower is leaking more than ever wasting a lot of water. Finally they answer the phone and we are told they can’t get the parts after all. We asked for a full refund which we are now waiting for.Awful service.They want money up front for jobs they can’t complete.Non responsive.Avoid.

I have used this company in the past with no problems until my last experience. I booked a boiler service and gas check. The first appointment l missed and accept this. I then re booked the appointment which they cancelled on the Friday only after l had e mailed them to confirm, they were suppose to do on the Monday. They then phoned to change a second appointment not speaking to myself which is highly unprofessional. When was asked if could do earlier the boss lied and said they had been to the property twice and as l was not there would not come again. Seems strange why they would call me to change the appointment? I e mailed them regarding this matter with no response so feel l have no option but to leave a review here.
