I tried making an appointment, but my phone calls were unanswered, e-mail replies were very slow, and Elaine did not seem keen to offer an appointment. After being pushed around, I was finally told after several days that they didn't have any availability. Customer service seems seriously lacking.

Elaine was lovely throughout the bespoke-dress making process, but you really had to force her to listen to your opinions and she would not accept it you were not happy with something. I needed whoever was with me to reitterate the issue before she would listen.My dress was finished badly and when we asked her for help fixing it we were turned away from the shop door and ignored. Our friend had to fix the dress last minute. The dress was also labelled incorrectly so the dry cleaner ruined it when following the instructions. It had to be resewn (but looks better now!)Elaine has been avoiding contact with me for almost a year when I've tried to follow up with her. Would not recommend.

I had an appointment for 9am on a Saturday morning and by 9.15 I had the perfect dress! Elaine listened to what I wanted and selected 4 dresses for me to try on. I could happily have worn any of them. The fitting appointments with Elaine were fun and on my wedding day I had so many wonderful comments about the dress, how it moved and how perfectly it suited me. Thank you, thank you, thank you Elaine for making my day super special. I also got my hairband from Elaine and two weeks on am still wearing it, even to do the cleaning!

Elaine has provided the most beautiful experience of tailoring my wedding dress and making my wedding day look simply stunning. She was supportive, knowledgeable, and generous with her time. I had my dress made with Elaine after she did my sisters dress with absolute confidence it would be a wonderful experience, which it was. Elaine took immense care in getting to know us both and happily had multiple appointments to get every part of the process perfect. Elaine is funny, kind and honest which is a refreshing breathe of fresh air from the usual pushy and insincere sales teams I met at other bridal shops.Where to start. The shop is beautiful and immediately makes you feel calm and relaxed. Elaine took so much time to understand my style, likes and dislikes and came up with ideas on how to achieve the overall look. What I valued most is that she was honest about what would suit me and when I had ideas of what I thought would work she expertly guided me with experience as a dress maker.The end result was Elaine working her magic and creativity to combine two very different dresses into one, somehow bringing everything together. We actually made my dress to wear again and I am now entrusting her with making some changes so I can enjoy it again.Not only did I love the process of getting my dress made, but all my friends did too. We are still regular visitors at Elaine’s shop and couldn’t recommend her enough to any other bride.

Well.. where do we start!! Elaine has been an absolute pleasure from day 1, she made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and listened to exactly what I wanted for my big day. Elaine is extremely professional and so friendly and every visit I left the shop feeling satisfied and excited for the next one! Elaine went above and beyond with everything including helping my daughter Amie with her dress. We would 1000% recommend any bride to be to visit Tantrum and Tiaras. I had a wonderful experience with Elaine and Gayle - they helped tailor my dress to perfection and added in some last minute details I had wanted **2 days** ahead of my wedding. They understood the urgency and my vision, and worked around it. The end result is beautiful! Can’t wait to wear my dress on my big day :)

I honestly had the MOST incredible experience with Elaine. I showed her a picture of a jumpsuit I wanted to wear on my wedding day and she did the most amazing job creating it for me. It was so much better than I could have hoped for and it fit so perfectly. Nothing was too much for Elaine - she gave us so much time and attention and took so much care in creating it. The whole experience was so wonderful and I cannot express how grateful I am to her for creating the most amazing outfit for me. We have continued to go to Elaine for tailoring bits and bobs and will continue to go to her! I could not recommend Tantrum & Tiaras enough!!!!!

I got married in June and a couple of months prior the wedding I had a mini disaster; my wedding dress was irritating my skin and more worryingly - it didn't fit!I made an appointment with Tantrums and Tiaras and it was the single best thing I did for the wedding. Elaine is really something quite special, she has a wonderful way with people and immediately made me feel better about everything. It was clear from the off that she was an expert. She put my mind at ease and done absolute wonders with my dress.On the big day the dress was very comfortable and fitted perfectly. I can say with absolute certainty that this was thanks to Elaine and her hard work. I can't thank her enough for this.I also hired a head piece made by Scott. He recommended something that suited me and my dress perfectly, it really added something unique and beautiful to my outfit.All in all this is a 5* service and business. I can't recommend them both highly enough!
