MCurigan deserves the highest commendation for their promptness, dedication, and quality of craftsmanship.I have initially hired them for an RSJ job, which turned out to be much more complicated than planned but which was executed very well and with a minimal hassle and disruption for us. I then entrusted them with fixing a few exterior walls issues, rendering and painting.Both projects were done extremely well and fast, and the overwhelmingly positive experiences are described separately below.1. Installing an RSJ in the loft, to support the chimney breast.This had already calculated and designed by a structural engineer. Mihaita was very prompt in responding to the ad and coming round to inspect the property and assess the work needed to be done. This was in no way trivial to do and needed coordination with the structural engineer. Mihaita offered a competitive quote and hired his services despite some initial reservations due to their company being new. However, I was immediately struck by his enthusiasm, openness and technical knowledge and common sense.My expectations were very largely surpassed: the work proceeded quickly and we were informed at all stages of the problems encountered, which Mihaita solved extremely efficiently and in good spirit: these ranged from negotiating practical installation issues with the engineer to coordinating the teams involved in separate aspects of the job.The work was very nicely and carefully completed, for a very good price and the whole experience was overwhelmingly positive.In addition to the obvious quality of the work this company can provide, I should like to add that Mihaita is a very likeable, intelligent, humorous, courteous, and dedicated person: it was a real pleasure interacting with him and his team.2. RenderingI hired MCurigan Construct for a rendering job of all sides of the property, after having an extremely positive experience with them with a complex structural job.Mihaita immediately spotted a few issues raised by a professional surveyor, such as the need to install damp proof courses in some places, finding the cause of some cracks in the exterior walls, and dealing with various smaller issues. Mihaita planned the entirety of the works, on all sides of the property, and personally executed or directed the works themselves.One thing that is immediately obvious is the dedication and attention to detail of he and his team display. Mihaita managed to procure the materials, oversaw the different parts of the job and progressed very fast, despite the occasional inclement weather and managed to keep several balls in the air during the execution of a fairly complex job.I cannot recommend MCurigan warmly enough for the speediness, dedication and love they put in their work.

Very happy with my new roof.After the very strong wind that we had a few weeks back I had to find someone to fix my roof and part of my conservatory as a tree branch fell on it. I’ve found MCurigan constructions online and spoke with Mike who was very helpful and organised a consultation straight away. He came to view the damage and we agreed straight away on the price which I’ve found very reasonable. The job was carried out in a timely and professional manner and I’m very happy with the result. I couldn’t recommend enough! Thanks again!
