I bought a very nice Mercedes estate from Tallis a couple of months ago and after a few weeks one of the daylight running lights stopped working. Being a modern car this repair turned out to be complicated and expensive, but Simon took care of the whole thing until the matter was rectified. Great service from a highly recommended company

I went to view a vehicle at this company have been advertised in the auto trader. I didn’t ring to see if it was still available and that’s my fault. Subsequently, when I turned up he said it wasn’t there, it was in Bristol being valeted. I said don’t bother then I’ve travelled an hour to get here so I won’t bother then thank you. He launched into a tirade saying I just don’t understand people why they can’t ring up first. What’s the difficulty in that? He was very obnoxious, a touch of LMS, I would think. Another thing was that they didn’t advertise the numberplate on the website which is always a bit suspicious, most people take advantage of the check MOT status of the vehicle and see the history going back, without the registration number. You cannot do this.

Bought a 12 plate E Class Estate with all the bells and whistles for a fair market price. After driving it a few times on my weekly motorway commutes, I had a small list of niggles that I wasn't 100% satisfied with. Without any stress or unnecessary hassle, the owners simply passed me onto a local Mercedes specialist and within a couple of days, all the issues had been sorted under the warranty they offered. A great example of paying a price and receiving a 1st class service, from businessman that pride themselves in customer service. No hesitation in recommending Tallis to anyone considering buying a car from them.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff who make decent coffee whilst you browse their current stock. Brought a car from them that looked even better in the flesh for a fair price.

Ok here goes....Bought a 1991 Mercedes 190d 2.5 with a rare manual transmission that had low miles and still wore its rear window decal and number plates and tax disc holder displaying John Tallis of Bath Limited.The car was so nice and had been well looked after but I noticed the key fob had a more modern Mercedes version so I decided to hunt Tallis’s down on Facebook and message then to see if they had any old key fobs left from the old old days..Got a reply back saying leave it with them and they would see so did and after a few months I forgot about it but got a message saying send my address as they had something for me !!!!Lo and behold they found one and exactly like the car would of had when they were official Mercedes main agents,, I asked how much and Tallis wouldn’t take anything so for doing that they get a 5* review for such a kind gesture.Rest assured if I lived near them which I don’t unfortunately I’d definitely let them look after my classic Mercedes motor car.Really appreciated that and I’ll make sure a good deed is done for someone else in the future....

Exceptional service and clear communication from the go. Having dealt with a number of dealers over the years, Jonathan and Simon are clearly in a different league. A streamlines and transparent sale, with no hard sell and their product knowledge is exceptional. Felt comfortable dealing with them and would recommend without hesitation.

I dealt with Johnathan at Tallis and can highly recommend him and his company. From the first phone call, when I was dealt with fairly and professionally. No usual rubbish, or lies that you can get with some car dealers. I part exchanged my car with them and was even a realistic price and I am VERY happy with my new car. The warranty they have offered is better than I have ever had on any used car before. I think I can safely say the easiest, hassle free car purchase I have ever made. Credit where credit is due!
