The Bridal Atelier

When I called Roxy to book an appointment, I explained to her that I don't really wear dresses and that I found the whole idea incredibly overwhelming. She immediately put me at ease on the phone; explained it would be fun and not stressful and was just lovely and reassuring.She was right of course and after trying lots of amazing dresses on I found the one I wanted. I asked her to make some alterations for me (including removing the train and altering the length) and when I went back for the final fitting I felt incredibly happy and confident. It was stunning!I can't recommend Roxy enough. She is super talented and totally understands all the different emotions involved in the dress/wedding process so will put you at ease and you'll be so happy on your day in your beautiful dress x

Roxy was amazing in helping me in my search for ‘the dress’. The shop is beautifully set and the whole experience was just as I had hoped it would be. Roxy is extremely supportive and definitely has an eye for what gowns would suit a bride - she knew what I would like before I even knew what I wanted myself! I actually went to try on a specific dress I knew was stocked that I had seen online, and ended up leaving with a different dress picked out by Roxy. Couldn’t recommend her more for all things wedding dresses and look forward to her altering my gown (and bridesmaid dresses) ready for the big day!

I would recommend Roxy for a bespoke dress in a heartbeat. I had quite a specific idea in mind and she expertly brought it to life. Not only is she incredibly talented, she’s also an absolute delight to work with and a lovely person. Dress fittings with Roxy were one of my favourite parts of the wedding planning process - I wish I could do it all again! Thank you so much Roxy.

I had the most amazing experience with Roxy. She’s a super dedicated, professional, you definitely feel at ease and in very good hands with her. Also, the brilliant thing is, she’s not only the owner of the Atelier, but also a seamstress- so all alterations were done by her. E.g. I wanted to add a bow to my chosen dress which was not part of the original design - Roxy did that with no issue. My wedding was abroad, so my biggest worry was transporting the dress, but Roxy was so reassuring and bubble wrapped my dress in a small carry on, I just needed to steam it a little before the big day. I would 1000% recommend Roxy, her dresses are gorgeous and she’s so accommodating with what you want, giving the time and space also for you to enjoy this special moment.

Roxy did such a fantastic job altering my wedding dress, I cannot thank her enough. I bought a sample sale dress online that was too large and she made it fit perfectly. Not only that, she was so warm and friendly and professional, I genuinely loved the whole experience of visiting her shop. 100% recommend.

Roxy clearly has an eye for the most elegant dresses (as well as how to style them with the most perfect accessories!)- although I was looking at a specific collection, all her dresses are absolutely stunning. The whole process was effortless, fun, exciting and I have the perfect dress! To say I am SO excited to wear it on our ‘big day’ is an understatement! And as Roxy is a dressmaker, I’ll be taking it back to be suitably altered for future events and I’m looking forward to wearing it for years to come. I recommend her 100% and feel like she wholeheartedly shares her customers joy, which is such a pleasure.

I cannot recommend Roxy more, not only did she find me the dress of my dreams, but she made the whole experience an absolute dream! She made me feel so relaxed throughout, and altered the dress to perfection! I not only bought my dress from Roxy, but also my shoes, veil and earrings, and they were all perfect. Some say choosing your wedding dress will be one of the most magical moments and I can honestly say mine was. Roxy is a dream come true who fills the room with so happiness and grace.
